Had so much thoughts about this episode especially Thyme’s character development. When he told Gorya about his childhood story with Ren, you know he wants her to like him for him, faults and all, even if Ren might be the better guy. Usually, people put their best foot forward to earn someone’s affection, but Thyme lays himself bare for Gorya. It broke my heart a million pieces for Thyme, he likes her but he knows who he is competing up against. He wants Gorya to make a deliberate choice, to choose him still despite of, because he will choose her too over and above everything even against his mom.
F4Thailand might just be my favorite version out of all the versions. They might as well win the best script and screenplay because the dialogues are just superb.

So they choose to not have a cliche moment in the rain they were like we're gonna fight like children 😂😂♥️

I loved that part
Thyme's style is such a big part of his character in this show (that has been said somewhere). He has this very flashy style and clothes that really doesn't mesh well together, all because he doesn't really know who he is but want to get attention. His style will become less and less as the show progresses and he changes, even his hair. Actually, we see him using semi normal clothes when he goes to see Gorya wich is already an improvement

I have seen most of the adaptions. I think this is the best one because of how of the characters are portrayed. Especially Thyme's character because of the self-awareness he has. All of the characters in this one is the most mature. And Nani's character getting way more screen time than any of the other adaptions combined!! I cannot wait till next week with Win coming through at the end!! Can Saturday come tomorrow?! Love your reactions as always!

Really like the parallel with Gorya's attitude being the older sister and Thyme's sister ...Thyme feels good around her bc she's not behaving like other girls and doesn't hesitate to beat his ass when he's too much exactly like P'Tia I love it (I remember in the original story F4 were teasing Thyme's character saying he has a sister complex 😅)
I love ThymeGorya's chemistry in this episode ...the way they fought in the rain lmao 🤣🤣🤣
I feel like Gorya's feelings are developing faster than in other versions ..even tho she doesn't love him yet but she's already soft for him (I mean come on he's so cute who wouldn't?)
I also love Kaning's character here ...she seems much stronger somehow than in the other versions so I'm wondering if they'll follow the original story for their part with Kavin can't wait ^^

The desserts at Kavin house scene are actually the real traditional Thai sweets. ดาราทอง Dara Thong = Golden Star which is the one that Kaning took a bite. ทองเอก Thong Eke = First(class) Gold, สเน่ห์จันทร์ Sa ne' Chan = Charming Moon. These are all pretty hard to find traditional sweets. But still available nonetheless.
So next episode must be when F4 starts protecting gorya ♥️

Gorya isn't the doll (at least not now a representation if it), hence Ren isn't in love with Gorya and his special person is Mira. Thyme fell for Gorya defintely not for greedness or jealousy, that's def not his story, but because her personality.
Thyme opening up to Gorya her abt the childhood story is heartbreaking because you can see how much he loads himself :/ how he lives in a facade. And it's beautiful how he respects the crush she has for Ren bc in his mind Ren is perfect (even if it's not the case actually) while he feels he is undeserving of love, even if he craves so much for it. So he wanted to be honest with her. Basically say I like you, even if you don't like me. You can see the sadness in his eyes. Gorya isn't a doll, but she pretty much is becoming Thyme's most beloved/precious person. Bright was perfect on it (as much the pork scene, gosh, that made me tear up)
I think he telling the story, this scene, will be very important to analyze what's coming in the future. Because we know the exactly Reverse/Opposite of this childhood moment will happen in a sort of way...and it will break Thyme's heart 😭😭💞💞
If you watch F4 episode 0 you will love this series more.

I've only ever seen Meteor Garden. I cringe way too much with the older ones bc is, well, old. But, let me tell you that sitting through 50 EPISODES it was the WORRRRSE. They dragged the story way to much, Lei's character (Ren in this version) was a jerk and awful friend throughout most of episodes, he has autism (wich for what I gathered is also true in this version, is just not explicitly said so far, Ren only said that he was "weak") and somehow we're were supposed to think his actions were excusable, wich, weren't.
Also, the main couple, more toxic than CHERNOBYL. There is psychological torture, emotional manipulation, CHEATING (yes, to me that kiss was cheating), lack of communication, the male lead at some point punches a wall (at the side of her face) bc he's angry at her. The only thing he did that I actually really liked was that he heard her when she said she wasn't ready to have sex and waited till marriage, but he did a surprise wedding that involved slightly old fashion manipulative behavior so... (he really kidnapped her and put her in a wedding dress and led her believe it was a dream for the most part)
Not to mention that the best character had the least amount of screen time, so to anyone who's thinking about checking that out, not worth 50 hours of your life

Actually, the story of the original manga is toxic. But F4Thailand tone down a bit the story to make it fit to our current social situation.
and for Ren character, in Meteor Garden 2018 (China) he has autism, in Boys Before Flowers ( SK ) he has a trauma because of his parents death, I forgot what happened in MG 2001 and never watched Hana Dori Yango 2005 ( JPN ).
