It’s so easy for Thyme to believe this lie because he never could imagine Gorya choosing him over Ren. That’s why he was so shocked when she confessed she loved him, when she says yes to being his girlfriend (he needs her to say it here), and even when she kisses him for the first time. He’s always in awe and shock when she initiates and chooses him first, that her saying these lies were his biggest fears and it was easy for him to believe it at the end because he’s always worked hard to prove his love for her. Although Gorya doing this is her biggest declaration of love despite what he thinks. She saved all the players on the chess board (uncle Ga, auntie Yu, Kaning’s Dad and Thyme) and sacrificed her own happiness.
exactly!! It was so hard for him to believe she really loved him and the things she said were like weaknesses and fears of his, that scene hurt as heeeck
Also, Gorya still has to learn a lesson to finally stay with Thyme and her journey is not yet concluded.
Her breaking up with Thyme is her declaring her love, but also her thinking that she still is not worthy enough (see how she keeps doing things on her own, still doesn't share the important things and never relies on Thyme), that's why she's still not completely committing to him yet.
Yes, she can make sacrifices for him and she loves him, but she still subconsciously denies him romantically and is still a bit violent with him (I feel like she's gonna stop after the trauma of her hurting Thyme, she's probably not gonna want to hurt him again, not even physically).
Her next step is gonna be understanding that she has to fight alongside Thyme and not for him, for herself or for the people she loves.
The moment in which she's gonna finally be fulfilled, is the moment she's gonna understand her full power and value (the next episode is gonna be a reality check for both her and Thyme) and that's how she's gonna really take her place beside him.
Thyme is not the only one who feels inferior, even Gorya, subconsciously doesn't believe in herself, or feels like an equal to Thyme...
Thyme's insecurities steam from thinking that Gorya couldn't possibly love someone like him, since in his view, she still doesn't see him as an ordinary man even if he's struggling so much to offer that to her every chance he gets (helping her, keeping her from doing tasks that she would want to take on her own and trying to not hurt or disappoint her in any way), not understanding that she still has her own path to walk on, before she can reach him and join him confidently.
Gorya's insecurities, steam from the will to please everyone but herself and from her feeling not worthy of Akira Paramaanantra, because even if now she sees him as Thyme, she still didn't accept the fact that she will rule beside him, she doesn't feel ready and is scared to take on the only task that she should actually be responsible of...staying by his side as an equal, an ally, while playing the same game.
I agree 110%. Gorya is Thyme's crush and first love. He has seen her at her best and worst. Gorya always (well 97% of the time, let's be honest here) told him the cold hard truth regardless of the consequences since day one. So when she does do it, will doubt at first then he might of thought of something and it clicked that it might actually be true.

Rosalyn was wearing black n white, gorya was wearing white & Thyme was wearing black.
Rosalyn knows the game! She's playing both sides in the ep. The shot where she hugs Gorya. Only white side is shown meaning she's with her side. But later on she's wearing all black after the breakup.
Gorya & Thyme was just pawns on the chessboard controled by Rosalyn

FUN FACT ABOUT THE BREAK-UP SCENE:
Hours before they did this scene, Bright and Tu was just hugging each other while waiting in the set.. as a way of their Support boosting before filming this emotional scene.
This is Tu's (Gorya) debut in a series, and yet she nailed it! Bright-Tu nailed the break-up scene.. also the necklace scene, it was so emotional 🥺 So great actors. ❤️
Of all the F4 versions that I've been watched, Taiwan and Thailand version only stands out for me. Especially this Thai ver. The story was very detailed, the casts and how they potray their roles, the emotions, the originality by making some unexpected scenes and plot twists, also the OSTs, I can't 😭
Great job for these people who worked hard for this series on and off cam. 1000/10 ❤️

It's true... best version ever the lovestory, the development and even the amazing F4 friendship...
I must admit. Except for the Japanese version and this version, I didn't believe the leads love story even though I was into the anime and manga. The Korean version of the romance didn't feel earned to me. All the other versions solely focused on the romance and love triangle. But this version focused more of the story than the love line and they got rid of the triangle since the story is a drama in itself.
@@goonghana Indeed..well actually I like the Korean version too but this Version hits different..I mean they make the Second lead care more about the friendship instead of his own feelings...I felt like this version gave the story a Heart.
They dig deeper the story while also entertaining us...you can also see the relationship development between the couples..I love this...

Cindy Bishop is nailing her character. She is by far the best madam ever out of all the versions.
She's the best bad ass b especially with that Chinese character.
Guys. The "1 years has passed" isn't from when Gorya left. When the 3 girls are saying, pause the vdo, and you'll see a FB post with a "1 year ago" mark, it's when Thyme draged Lita away in his birthday party. The 3 girls were saying that it's been boring since Gorya resigned (not that she resigned 1 year ago), and that 1 year ago they were still fighting. The plot itself even says that the F4 here are grade 12 students (senior, final year) while Gorya is a grade 11 student. Meaning that F4's graduation marks the 1st year from the beginning of the story.
Thyme's mom is a clever devil. She knows she can never bring Gorya down through her power, money and connection so she attacked her greatest strength but also her greatest weakness. It's her heart. Her emotions. She knows Gorya is a very kind person with a golden heart that will always understand things and put everyone else first before herself . Thyme's mom used that as her advantage. What Gorya did, is very heroic of her. It must be hard for her to break things with Thyme in that way. Her initial plan is just to break up, not tear him apart, but because she was emotionally manipulated, she had to do it for everyone in this game, for every pawn Thyme's mother has involved in this game.
It's also pretty obvious that Thyme is not happy, nor does he want what he's really doing. It also made me sad that he said Paramana will prioritize people and not money, the company will have a heart but then he said to Tia, a year after his first and biggest heartbreak, that their company focus on profit and not charity. It's the very opposite of his dream. Also the emotion in his eyes when Ren showed him Gorya's photo is just....wow. You can see in his eyes that he still loves her, that he's longing and missing her, that he's relieved they finally found her, and there's also pain-it's just.... there's a lot of emotions going on Thyme's eyes in that moment.
Bright and Tu's acting is so amazing. It's just *chef's kiss*
And I'm glad I give this series a chance. I didn't plan watching it because I'm a fan of BrightWin, I'm literally there when 2gether is still airing, waiting every Friday nights and sacrificing my sleep because it's released every 11PM in my country. I find it weird to see them in the same drama, as friends after 2gether but then...I tried F4 Thailand and I have no regrets. The best of all versions out there when it came to the storyline of each character, their backgrounds why they became like that and their character arcs. Other versions didn't portray that. All they ever did is focus on Dao Ming Si/Jun Pyo and Shan Chai/Geum Jandi toxic romance and repeated fights.
I bet that if they took out the toxic stuff from the Japanese version, it would have been the best adaptation with this one....
Also I'm glad you gave this a try. Not a lot of Brightwin fans are supporting them after discovering this project...a lot of people complain about them just being friends and are bashing Tu on her insta, while they're all just doing their job.
Also, I could never see someone else playing Doumyouji (Thyme) better than Bright...also he looks like the spitting image of himself in the manga.
@@laurajanco2i Yeah, even as a BrightWin fan myself, I feel annoyed with them and everytime someone will educate them, especially their co-fans, they will call them fake. Also, when you said that Thyme (Bright) is the splitting image of Doumyouji, I can't help but agree especially his shadow in the opening, if you're not skipping it. I love that shadow lmao.

Having Roslyn (Cindy) be the Thai's version of Cruella de Vil would be a fun ride and I would buy that movie just for her!
This mom right here!! This is definitely the most than any other version. The moms in the other versions only being mean because they were prejudiced and bias about poor people and only wanted them to break up.
Also there was so much symbolism going on in this ep that it blew my mind when i rewatched it!
Kent is still on that amnesia plot line.
I knew that woman was lying, she had to be, if you have terminal cancer, you're not walking around a year later, Gorya has to be really disconected from the outside world for her not to know. At the beginning of the episode Kavin says "she's acting like she's fighting against time" meaning that it seems like she was in the hurry, so I thought "oh, maybe she's sick" but when she said it, it just didn't felt true, especially the part where she's messing with the chess board.
I don't know what to expect from the last two episodes, I have no idea how they're going to like "win" from Rosalyn.
Fun fact, the outfit Thyme wore, the Black sparkling suit, Bright wore it in the F4 Premiere.

Thyme mom actually smart but evil.The only way for her to get the king is to lured/to get the "Queen" to be out of the board.She knew exactly what she want and she knew that no one can stop her not even the "king" because she "created" this game.She knew that she's one step forward in the game. The queen (gorya)fell into the witch trap w/o her realizing it. BUT as Gorya said "I may lose but Thyme will win." Thyme is the KING, this is his time to learn a new strategy/tactics. "The game is not over till it's over."

Gorya told Roselyn straight in the face "Thyme will never love you"...basically saying that it doesn't matter if she takes him away from her, he will never love his mother anyway after everything she has done. Gorya is savage...
Also, no matter how much Gorya breaks him, he will never go back to the way he was, because the influence she and his experiences left in him, are stronger then all the pain he could feel.
I hope Gorya and Thyme get stranded in an island so they can spend some alone time fixing stuff...and I really feel like after that, Thyme's gonna get amnesia.

Sad that she's getting what she deserves, but the one who always has to get hurt is him.
Here is a theory for the mom: Gorya could be similar to either Roalyn's old flame or Roslyn herself, because when Gorya told her Thyme will never love you, I think that was a genuine shock and looked like she was going to cry for a minute.
I think the reason for not going to the route of having Gorya got to Ren's grandfather was because they didn't focus on the love triangle of the love story. It made Jandi become closer to Ji Hoo as a love interest, not friend/brother relationship. Maybe, if it does happen, Ren might take in her family and the F4 themselves instead.
Wait, what happened to Ren's granfather in the Korean version? I don't remember him being mentioned in the Japanese/Chinese versions.
@@laurajanco2i It was not in the Japanese version. If it was in the 2018 Chinese one, I don't know if it was done because I only gotten to 25 of the 50 episodes. The recent seeing of BOF was a couple of years ago. So I don't quite remember how we gotten to that point in the story. But I believe it happens because of drama between Joo Pyo and his fiancee. Something big went down between him and the fiancee and Jan Do saw it. I think Ji Hoo' invited her to his house to get away from the drama. If you heard or read a blog called Drama beans, you can go to that blog and search for episodes (I believe) is episode 16-21, or 22. It was really late into the series. But we do learn a bit more about Ji Hoo in that arc. Hope this helps. I didn't want to get too far into details in case anyone has not seen BOF and actually want to watch it.

I know you didnt watch the last chinese version, but I love it, and Ximen and Xiaoyou were my favorite couple, like Kawin and his chipmunk, lol, I really advise you guys to give it a try, there is a FMV on youtube with their story and it is sooo cute,
the way the mom here is the most evil one i swear i knew that cancer thing is sus i didnt felt bad for her and my hunches was right and its literally annoyingly the best bc shes the most evil version of all bUT THE BREAKUP SCENE WAS THE MOST HURTFUL OF ALL THEY DIDNT HAVE TO HURT US THIS BAD IM SCREAMING

They are not gonna go with the hunger strike...it wouldn't be like Thyme and Gorya to do something like that, because they would just hurt each other even further and so far, there has been too much of that. I go for amnesia, because of the trailer and the new pics of episode 15
