I rather have 3 zombies with +20 to all stats than 4 zombies personally, but still pretty cool... I've loved necromancers with multiple undead minions since Diablo 2.
the only reason why i would take the extra thrall one would be to level up 2 thralls at the same time. But respecing just for that? no thanks. I wish you could freely change inbetween non-corrupted perks to test them out without having to reset your stats.
Yes, because then if you use master skelos armor and you use an agility weapon, you do 30 percent more agility damage and followers do 40 percent more damage.
4:26 You can get the Khari armors on the Isle of Siptah from using the delving bench; you need to delve the epic Stygian Raider armor pieces.
Just a quick note, you should corrupt 4 more points of authority so perks that stack with corruption get maxed out without needing to lose your double follower count.
Very nice build. I rerolled a female agility build and was thinking sorcery. I play necros in most games if I have a chance. This looks wonderful. Thanks for the great work!
Nice build - have you testet the difference between 4 zombies, which will have no bonus stats from, and 3 zombies, with the well-trained perk + then you can use armor with +follow dmg, potions, food - would think that 3 zombies would out preform 4 on dmg easy - you will of course have 1 tank less, and 1 zombie less to share your dmg - but if you kill everything 33% faster.....

A necromancer kicking down a warrior so their zombies can have a bite to eat. Sounds fun.
I chose to corrupt vitality instead of strength. Immunity to bleed, poison, etc. cannot be beaten on a corrupted build as said dots do not respect damage reduction and are not effected by flesh bond. Also the Berserker perk is always on when fully corrupted.

I tried this build using demons at max lvl and it is also very OP. So a demonologist spin on this build works really well as long as you don’t mind a little grind to max out your demons

I tweaked the build to put 19 points of corruption into vitality leaving glutton for punishment. Corrupted perks give you passive regen scaled on your corrupted vitality and also makes you immune to bleed, poison, disease, and sunder. Imo this is much better than having a little extra hp and fast healer. I also put 19 points corruption in authority but take well trained instead of war party. Well trained makes your 3 zombies get a nice boost to all their stats, this will also boost their hp by around 2k when they follow you. Mine up 3 stacks of brimstone and put one on each zombie. They will live forever, and so will you. For the armor just use the Abyssal Armor, its pretty cheap to make anyway and as long as you kill things it wont despawn. I haven't run into a single Boss that can kill me with this build.
Tweak the build into an agility build and you can wear master skelos cultist armor, which will give you 30% more agility damage and 40% more follower damage.
FYI, Khari IS available on Siptah, Stygian Raider Epic in the Delving Bench to get Khari.
swapped 2 pieces out the the hands for gloves of jhil (stamina regen is a must) and boot for boots of the serpent (just for that littlebit more carry capacity)
Khari armor can be obtained in siptah by delving stygain raider

Feels like more of a dread knight/general than a necromancer. To me necromancer is raising dead enemies in combat to give yourself an edge, whereas this felt more like leading undead troops
New to conan. Was trying to figure out why would anyone even use magic on this game. Definitely just subscribed.

corrupting 15 in Authority here is just an oversight correct? As i understand it, you will be max corrupt (50%) with this build so there is no point to NOT corrupt 19 in authority since it gives no furhter drawback, but makes frenzy 12% stronger.. Correct me if i am wrong. Also, the +20 stat would add +20 to all zombies would it not? This might be better than having an extra zombie maybe, specially if bonus follower damage from gear works on zombies
The only reasonhe chose the 4th is to get in more hits for the low heal so yeah Ur way would actually be better imo
Great build love you videos, you always do a great job. Do you think the war cry Perl for vitality would be a better option than the way party? You would still have 3 zombies they would just be stronger zombies.
Necromancer without spell casting dark spells feels wrong! Also I wonder how long those walking corpses are going to last for, as I understood from their explanation they should start out at peak performance but decay over time. As I guess is currently bugged on testlive as without it they do seem a bit to OP.
They last a few irl days yes they do decay on testlive. I have had many decay on my server.
Frenzy is 3% per corrupted attribute point. 3 x 15 = 45% not 9%.
It's for every corrupted charisma attribute, not attribute point. It's meaning every corrupted charisma perk so 3% every 5 corruption points.
15 ÷ 5 = 3. 3% × 3 corrupted charisma attribute perks = 9%.
@@xCorpsyx Wrong. The skill says for every attribute point in Authority.
Wear the new Skelos armor for follower damage and agility damage, switch STR to AGI. Carve them up with a katana, or sit back with the summoned bow while your zombies do work.
Skelos armor won’t work with war party
Switch the strength build into an agility build and you can affectively wear skelos cultist master and get the 40 percent follower damage and get the 30 percent agility damage. this combined with salted requisite meat and elixir of grace, 20 agility AND derketos voice with penetration oils AND blackice and or hollowbone arrows makes you do 520 - 710 damage per full charged shot to the chest. Combine this with the necromancy and THATS unstoppable.
I love this build! might also transition to Axe & T.axe even before 3.0 drops! I'll test a two follower variant of this build with Hiuman Thralls. That mule kick as a pleasant surprise!

My point is I'm excited for better accessibility to other play styles without feeling like they under perform. I don't mind a challenge, but if there's a better way to achieve your goals, it's natural to use it.

Khari armor should be available on Siptah by delving the Stygian raider armor. That is, of course, assuming that is not changed by 3.0.

with that khari set the medium I believe would be better for the agility/ samarai build as it adds to the stam. Also quietly how would you do a universal build or your choice of a universal build to be able to almost everything?

I run a similar build only I maxed out the corruption for vitality and authority. The demons are kind of meh but when you get the greater varient it's awesome. Unfortunately if you have companions out they'll attack the demons

As a necromancer fan I like this build. Only thing I’d do different is focus a little more on spells and hanging back letting my zombies do most of the work while I take pot shots with daggers. But yours is a fun build none the less. Reminds me more of a Death-knight than necromancer. Can’t wait for thus update to drop on consoles.
There are no active spells like that to cast really. There are large AOE spells but they are expensive to cast. You could put all your points in str into agi and run bows instead. But you are so tanky with this build you really have little to worry about.

Wait a minute... Wasn't "just sitting back while the follower did all the fighting" the reason they nerfed thralls? Something doesn't add up...

Lol, unstoppable necromancer. Whenever I try to cast a spell with in rendering distance of pretty much any base my game crashes. Yesterday I was just checking what different spells did n such. The game crashed 6 times in 45 minutes. Concidering how long it takes to fully restart Conan I think thats quite impressive.

@@The_Establishment_Is_Satanic It is. Sadly the game is still being sold on regular ps4 despite being unplayable. If Id have known there were so many crashes, id have left Conan in the ps4 store.

@@The_Establishment_Is_Satanic Unfortunately not. My laptop barley handles photoshop, or the RuneScape grand exchange in any popualted world xD. Is runs pretty decent on ps5 too according to my nephew. Its just on an old, phat, first gen it simply isnt playable
I can't See the enemy HP bar can someone Help me fix ist or ist it because of the Update?
I dont rly like vitality since that patch - if u go 100% grit u can choose perk that u cant get more than 25% hp in dmg... becouse of authority corrupted perk (50% of dmg go to zombie) it makes it 12,5%
And u have way more stamina - other than that u can go 3perks in agility and 2 corrupted in strength (u only rly need 3 perks in authority) cuz there is a bug (or maby a feature) - and corrupted stength incresses "damage" - agility damage included this way u can hit hard and u cant get more than 13 hp in one hit - this is very easy for 3 zombies to heal up (they also dont take a lot of dmg from sharing it with u) agility also give u more stamina and allow u run faster for longer distance... if u have sigils and gloves of jhill it basicly becomes infinite...
U will be 50% corrupted so u'll have 100hp and still u'll be able to tank 8 hits with constant healing on your face and most basic aloe that u can craft on the go healing u from 0 to 100%
Armor doesnt matter as well so take light or even naked.

Yea - two thralls with 1h maces also heal u very well - i think its even better than zombies cuz they simply hit faster (more often) and cuz they are 2 not 3 they block your character a less.
I'm able to tank the judge and hit him without even dodging anything but - u may still die if mobs use aoe attacks for some reason - they are not counted as "hit" i suppose.
Thralls with maces also seem to be more tanky (ok - less hp than zombies but u can make them 1,5k armor easly, and use aloe on them and healing arrows) and they sunder armor incrissing your and their dmg...
If u dont like agility - well go strength there is a sword in void forge that regens your stamina (and corrupts u but hey - thats what u want anyway...) - along with jhil gloves it regens your stam faster than u can use it.

Yea, but i use sygils to counter them - i dont thing it will otherwise but never tested - i,m not pvp player so most posison stacks i get was 3 or something... guess you'll need to test that but hey - u have 2 thralls to take mob out of u so just have some set potions on u and simple bandages if thats your concern. But most of the time i'm using katana/gladius to attack from behind so i dont rly take dots

3 Buffed Zombies also means you can use Gear to Buff Followers. I'm going to be Running the Aspect of the Bat, Gloves of Jhil, and 3 pieces of Reinforced Skelos Cultist. that should make my Zambies hit much harder.
I have two questions first question is how do you change the look of an armor set second question is how do you corrupt your stats? These bills you make look like so much fun thank you for sharing.
In terms of armour sets, if you make a thaumaturgy table, you can apply illusions to weapons and armour in there, search up conan thaumaturgy table if you need more info

did they fix the bug on the elixir of freedom? it used to reduce your total stamina after you gained stam from drinking... the stam from drinking water after 100% overwrote the buff from the elixir but didnt remove the buff itself... so when the buff runs out you end up losing max total stam .. havent tested if they fixed it in the last update tho

Spark.. I love, love, love the build versatility that 3.0 adds but if I'm being completely honest I'm a little worried about what 4 or 5 people running this build on screen at the same time is going to be like.
I play on a Series X but I'm rarely playing on the lowest ping server because those servers tend to be a hot mess.
I feel like we are going to need a significantly larger map to contend with Zombie hordes and bat Demon paratroopers etc.
OMG 4 people running this build and coming at you its GG you may as well just remove your bracelet and let them have your stuff lol

I'm not 100 percent familiar with how corrupting attributes works, but is there a reason to only corrupt 15 authority instead of 19? Obviously you would avoid 20 so as not to get Demon King, but 19 would let you enjoy the most possible scaling for Frenzy, wouldn't it?
Certain corruption perks go by the number of perks, not the number of points, I believe authority is this way. Also the more points you corrupt for, the less max health and stamina you end up with, so it's a balance thing there.
@@lordelcorion the max your health and stamina are hit by corruption is still 50%, only teleporting can exceed that. So you can corrupt all the stats if you wish to, but odds are if your wanting pets to do extreme damage you want to really corrupt authority. But also corrupting strength will leave you at the 50% cap if you also corrupt authority.
Why is not 1 corrupted point on vitality, and second why not pu 19 instead of 15 points on authority? Great build im gonna try it soon as I got to 60.
points into skills dont just affect perks, it affects the followers health and damage over all

I think three beefed up ones are better than four normal ones, but it's quite annoying that their health has to regenerate every time you have them follow you. I can see the benefits of both sides here!

Maybe I miss something but what perks did you choose and strength and authority before corruption?
It replaces the non corrupt perk so what it is isn't that important.
Are we sure that the 3% per Charisma (err... Authority) attributes equals to 9% for 3 perks? It's 15 points in Authority and 3 perks. It reads "attribute" not "perk" so shouldn't it be 45% extra damage at 15 points?
I think they mean perks. It's a wording issue. I'll know 100% for sure once they update the dev kit.

it's 3% damage per point of Corrupt Authority. if you have 10 points of Corruption in Authority then Frenzy is adding 30% more damage to a cap of 60% at 20 points of Corrupt Authority.
Wouldn't it ge better to use Well Trained over War Party? I would have thought 3 super zombies would be slightly better than 4 regular zombies

I think it's to spread the damage out more. Which will make it less likely to cripple or kill a zombie.

So instead of running single 40k HP Teimos wrecking everything with a Crom"s sword everyone and their mother will be running 4 mini Teimoses, who don't need Crom's sword or armor, with (from what it's looks like) little to no difference in overall damage output. 👏
Teimos is certainly out of the picture. for op usage. now the cimmerian berserker zombies will do just fine. All 4 of em XD

the Reanimated Thralls hands down. with the right perks, former Cimmerian Berserkers and Relic Hunter Treasureseekers in particular can break 17k hp, and have a ton of damage.
I’m lost you can surpass the stats when you get level 60?! I found khari steel (I was like this is powerful but I only found three bars)

Or take something that has the stats you want, and use Illusion to give it the pictish wizard appearance.

Good build, but this strategy is much stronger with agility instead of strength and well-trained instead of war party. Agility gives you desperately needed stamina and three zombies that are twice as strong is better than 4 who do not hit very hard. Downside is that your carry weight will be even lower then the build you've posted here, but it's well worth it.
Carry weight shouldn’t be much of a worry because you can just use the bulk zombies as mules

One thing that caught my attention was the HP of the zombies. I know they are max level but 1. Doesn't seem nerfed as the devs have implied. And 2. Didn't the devs also indicate Teimos could reach 13,000 HP?
So could a max level Teimos purge the zombies?
the fastest way to kill the zombies would be to ignore the zombies and target the player. If you can deal damage fast enough you will kill them but you will also be doing damage to all zombies at once.

100% would rather have 2 bearer/fihter thralls with 7-11K HP and armorered than 3-4 4K hp zeds with no armor and flat damage.
I'd rather have the last perk that increase the stat of a follower (20 in all attrib.). The damage is split 50% either way, so I'd rather have one really tanky, than two weaker ones if you only have them for sucking up 50% of your damage taken.
@@Human000001 Aspect of the Wolf, Voidforged Dragon Ribs, Serpentman Gauntlets, Pictish Warchief pants and boots with master armor fittings on a well rolled bearer thrall gives them 1600+ armor, 31% increased damage with strength weapons, each will have roughly 8-13K HP and with authority maxed 20 for 2 thralls with 19 points corrupted they will have 97% increased damage. Plus you have 50 extra slots for farming/looting that costs you 0 encumbrance. I feel like they are going to nerf glutton for punishment. Because when i get low and im at base i can just jump of a clip take fall dmg and heal that dmg
Relax. They will probably just disable it for fall damage. No need to nerf an ability that works just fine in other scenarios.

Funcom needs to be a little more transparent with what’s going on in the game, eventually, console versions are gonna get canned especially with the lack of communication.
@@chef1654 I quit playing conan in favor of ark. But seeing the three conan YT channels non stop talking about the magic update I thought; "eh ill give it another go" reinstalled conan and played it for a month waiting for this update... I eventually uninstalled conan again because the wait won't be worth it. I forgot how boring conan is single player, which is the ONLY option. Play pve and your game lags because of thr crazy structures ppl build, play pvp and instantly die. Its just not fun anymore, to me at least. In their defense I also uninstalled ark because it has the same issues conan does.

With Conan you’ve gotta find a friendly server with admins that have rules set and patrol the map for sandstone spammers and have thrall limits in place (Maybe 100 thrall limit ) No light spamming , lights impact FPS a ton. that’s how I’ve found the most success playing Conan online, Organized, Strict, servers are the way to go and ensure everyone plays on a smooth server, PvP, PvE, and PvE-C
Normal servers are just cess pools, everyones gotta play on crappy performance or chopping at your system because of all the spam it’s gotta load as you go in and out or render distance, giant bases are left behind because of salt from being raided or they sit in PvE servers for eternity.
Another thought: Really wish Conan added Magic/Sorcery turrets that reach 60(base) - 80 meters(Max), and shoot incoming arrow, trebuchet, and boulder fire, I know it would create some issues but it’s nothing a god can’t get passed or an organized team with tanky thralls. Would give people some peace of mind to log out and add some flavor to the raiding.
Maybe have permanent mini turret markers on the map and limit every tribe to 20 or 25. There’s a lot of ways they can go about it.
@@mediaondisplay3089 lol go find privately ran servers than. Admins put in building rules to minimize lag and if you don’t follow the rules your build gets destroyed and you might get kicked.
It's comes out on Thursday and if your computer can't handle the massive builds on pve then you need a better PC or internet connection, I Play on one of the oldest server still highly populated and filled with absolutely insane bases but I rarely suffer from lag. Also the game has been optimised especially when is comes it pve and pve conflict.
