Just an fyi. Wattage makes a difference in how much twinkle and brightness. 10w= not so much twinkly or not bright, 32w= twinkles fast and very bright.

@@ReynaldoVelasquez yeah I experienced first hand. Bought the 16w and got it installed. Seen it compared to my friends 32w and you can definitely see the difference.

I have the same one you have in this video for about 3 years…all of a sudden now it doesn’t twinkle in my car and i can’t change colors it’s just stuck on white. Have you ran into this problem or know how to repair this

Are the modules interchangeable? If I have the normal black module can I change to a twinkle engine?
Yes that should be able to work. Just connect the fibers to the new light engine with a twinkle feature. Good question, nobody’s ever asked that before
I got the same kit you got for ur Benz and I’m wondering how do I get it to jump to the music? The app has a couple songs but I was wondering if it will work while I listen to the music on my phone? How do I do that? Thank you for any help I appreciate it.

The thingy over heats so fast tho! Will it be a fire hazard?
Mine never over heated in my trunk here in Texas. Well it would be hot from the sun but not on its own. LED doesn’t really produce heat. And the motor is so slow I wouldn’t think it could catch fire. I have a fuse to help it.

What’s the best brand for starlight kit.
do most of these have a dimming option? just worried about it being too bright

My apologies if you already covered it. But have you noticed any real difference between the wattage options? I was looking at a 32 Watt kit that had the meteors, and around 800 fibers. It was pricey, in comparison to the other wattage options.
I personally haven’t, but I’ve seen comments in my videos that say the 32 is brighter than the 16 watt. That being said… they both are bright, and both have a dim feature. So it shouldn’t matter too much. They both look great in the daylight.
I am just getting the red light on mine. Any idea what the problem could be??
I thought I replied. I guess not. Could be a bad ground. Or maybe the box is defected. Mine is starting to act up but I’m not sure if it’s the remote. It’s batteries recently died and I haven’t changed them out yet.

My car has the lights that don’t twinkle, would I be able to switch to one that twinkles while keeping previous fiber optics in place?
Yes you just have to replace the light engine and mayyyybe the screw on part that actually attaches and holds the fibers together. That’s one reason I leave my light engine in the trunk so I can replace it easily vs installing it inside the headliner too

Hello, so lets say i dont want just 12 short meteor showers and i want to combine them into like 6 long showers, is there a way i can do that? Also please do you have a video on wiring the light without having to use the car cigarette lighter
Yes I do have a video on how I wired it to my fuse box. It may be linked in the description of my main video… but if you go to my channel you should see it. It has a green starlight thumbnail. And as far as your initial question.. I’m not too sure, I’ve wondered the same thing

If I bought the old module without the twinkle and I want the new twinkles do I have to remove the old fiber optics? Or can I just switch out the module if I get the same 150 fiber optic because if I have to remove everything that's gonna be tough
No not at all. You’ll be perfectly fine… as long as you installed the light engine somewhere easily accessible. You just unscrew the fibers at the light engine, and swap it out with the new light engine… then screw on the plastic fastener with the fibers onto the new light engine. I hope that makes sense. That’s actually one reason why I always recommend against tucking the light engine inside your headliner because if you did that… and the light burns out… or you need to replace it for whatever reason… you will definitely need to pull the headliner to access it

@@lifethroughnick I just posted a recent video on this new light engine (with a twinkle feature, link in that video’s description) that is a lot smaller than the older boxy light engines. It might fit under your headliner too. If your current light engine does not have the twinkle feature then yes you’ll need to buy a new light engine, but most of the current light engines on the market are 4”x4”x4” so they won’t fit in your headliner unless you move it’s location somewhere else. With that being said… most light engines can fit more fibers than they come with… for example if you originally installed 150 fibers… you can drop your headliner and install up to about 500 fibers total and still fit them in the same light engine. There’s also a Dual light engine (slim) that could also possibly fit in your headliner. It comes with two holes for fibers and two sets of LEDs (links are in my most recent video description) the dual light engine has two separate holes for fibers… so you can have 500 fibers in one hole and 500 fibers in the second hole for a total of up to 1000 fibers. And it will twinkle too. Hope this helps

What's your take on this kit (AZIMOM Dual Color 20w Twinkle Fiber Optic Starlight Headliner Kits 900pcs 0.03in 9.8ft, RGB Meteor Shooting Star, Sound Activated Remote APP Control Home Car Ceiling Décor)? It has the dual color in one kit. I see people now buying two kits to get the dual colored lights together. I see you stated you like the bigger boxed kits. The problem is I don't see the dual color in these yet.
That’s pretty awesome. A I mom has a lot of awesome kits actually. So I’m sure they won’t rip you off. Yeah I e always wanted a dual color kit. If you try it out please let me know how you like it. I may get one next

What is the absolute best starlight on the market with the most features as well
I would say get the twinkle starlight kit with the Bluetooth. It doesn’t matter if you get the 450 strand or the 1000 strand. Just make sure it twinkles and has Bluetooth. And the shooting star effect is optional.

@@conceitedzx7069 the gold or silver boxes (light engines) that are aluminum body are best in my opinion. The ones with two holes can usually hold about 500 strands per hole. For a total of 1000 strands. If you want the twinkle feature make sure to look for the rotating motor. The light engine is usually about 4” x 4” x 3” or something big like that.
I don’t think brand really matters. I’m sure they’re all sourced from the same place. But look at the seller reviews anyway… just in case. I left some links in my description if you’re curious
My light engine isnt working after a month use. Is it because it’s hot and it’s in my trunk.
It may just be a faulty one. If you used amazon link I provided ask them to send another. I really need to start selling my own.
I got one that was meant for a wall , I clipped it reconnected and now it doesn’t wanna work anybody know anything
Maybe a loose connection? Or maybe try looking for the auxiliary power cable on Amazon, then you can snip that one in two. If you need one… and you live in the USA, I could mail you one. Just to help you out. Sorry for the late reply. Didn’t mean to leave ya hanging

Meteor effect is different from the stars, different projector and all
I bought mine for Chris 20 min after it turned on it stopped working red light only won’t turn on at all no clue how to just get light engine or reset it

@@deeeekayyy4666 that’s interesting. Mine is acting up right now too. I thought it could be the old remote batteries, or a bad ground wire, but… it is cold at the moment here in Texas.
