    Was worried my 1100 piece with 204 shooting star kit would be too many stars. Was great to see a crew cab with sunroof and rear roof console to compare. Thanks.

    Hey had a quick question. First love the build, really cool to see what you have done. Second, on the pillar you put the fibers down when you put the trim pieces back on do you see the light coming from the fibers?

    • @bradenrein
      @bradenrein  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! So the fibers do light up, however in this application there isn’t any cracks or seams in the plastic trim where you can see the fibers shining though. They are totally hidden

    • @dudemylo7240
      @dudemylo7240 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you’re worrying about light transmitting through your pillars then use a black bag and duck tape it from the top so it wont slide down or you could easily give the same bag in which they came wrapped two coats of black pain

    • @bradenrein
      @bradenrein  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would recommend getting another headliner so you can still drive the truck while putting in the strands and glueing and such, then when you have the headliner complete, you can swap it out in a day or two. Also I’d recommend the 860 kit. The 900 we did almost seems like a touch too much in my opinion, but I love it

    • @bradenrein

    • @quentinl1003
      @quentinl1003 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m about to do the same exact set up as you did have everything in. Going to start on it tomarrow more then likely. I have a crew cab just like in the video but with no sunroof and DVD player. How did you separate the strands where there is 2 different strands of fiber optic. I don’t want to have my headliner green on one half and red on the other half. And my other question was how did you Measure out your head liner where it looks like a graph. Sorry for long questions. I just want to do this right and just like yours thanks so much!!!

    • @bradenrein
      @bradenrein  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Take length and divide by 5, take width and divide by 4, that determines the square size. Then draw the lines. Then say you have two 450 piece kits, take 450 and divide by how many squares you have. That determines how many strands you need in each square per each kit
