This is the unedited 'jam' component from the chattier video which can be viewed at • Boss Waza Craft: BP-1w...
Roland's RE-201 Space Echo and CE-1 Chorus Ensemble are still coveted today for their beautiful modulation effects and sometimes quirky hidden charms. One of the charms that they both have are their respective preamps and the subtly unique sound that each of them imparts. Boss realise that people are attracted to these preamps - some even purchase the respective units just for the preamps - so they've bottled them up and now we can all access them in the Boss Waza Craft BP-1w Preamp / Booster. If the flavours of those two old-school preamps aren't exactly right for you, there's a third 'natural' option that doesn't colour the tone as dramatically. Volume-wise, there's plenty of extra dB's on tap, enough to frighten the front-end of any amp, but you can up the ante by dialling in a little or a lot of Gain, which will give each preamp a little grit verging on low-gain overdrive. Every amp and guitar combo will react slightly differently and that's where the qualities of the BP-1w really shine. If you're looking for a super high-quality three-pronged boost, you should give the BP-1w a shot. I'm impressed ... and louder!

Awesome video, as always! Arigato, Brett.
Thanks once again for having me on board. You guys never fail!
Holy shit, now we’re talking! Sold most of my waza stuff already, but sooo want this, haven’t even watched the damn video. Perfectly named pedal. And Boss two-knobbers just look so damn cool
What a Great Boost/Pre-amp-pedal, - in the hands of a Great Guitarist!! .. 🤩
Best pedal option l have seen in a while
Boss has been killing it lately. I’ve been very surprised with their Waza lineup. This one sounds great!
Great video in showing how well this pedal works and the different setting between the re and ce 👍
Outstanding demo, this pedal requires ‘know how’ to make good use of the subtle differences. Well done!
Great demo! I have serious Charvel envy now..... Pedal sounds very versatile as well.
Excellent demo as always, Brett. Cool pedal.
Great playing pal
Tasty licks in the jam
Sounds great! The Waza Craft stuff seems worth it.
Love that intro jam!!! Sounding amazing 😱
Great demo Burgs. Great chips mate!
A must buy cool pedal!🙂
Really nice playing. The pedal sounds great. I’m considering getting one of those with the Boss ir-2 as my rig. It would be nice if you could demo that if you have both.
Ace playing!
Nice
Good video. Essentially, it seems, the boosts are just equalized differently: scooped/flat/midboost.
Is this pedal out yet? I absolutely need it but can’t find it anywhere online.
Announced today, and it will be available from your preferred retailer soon!
@@BOSSinfoglobal so we have the pre-amp of the CE1 in this pedal. Can we get a full remake of the CE-1? The dm-101 enclosure is very similar.
@@BOSSinfoglobalAny plans to do a Waza Craft Slow Gear?
How would you compare this one to the xotic ep booster please? 😊
Brett, is it possible to hear it over a clean amp?
