The game has a bad rep because of how it initially launched with the shitty auto-combat. But they quickly changed that and have made a lot of big changes since. The P2W in the game is almost the same as the WoW token, but people see Korean game and automatically assume the P2W is the worst it can be.
Stumbled across this video by happen chance, the lag you're seeing is due to the shaders not finishing downloading. Kind of like call of duty you download the game and its playable but it wants to keep downloading shaders. Hence the jittery and the laggy nature. It happened to me and I sat at the *enter screen* and let it do its thing after that I logged in and everything was chrisp.
Realistically nothing related to Amazon Game Studios can thrive wether they're developing or publishing. That alone is enough red flag for me to avoid this game.
This game has the same kinda of cash shop as Lost Ark. You can spend real money to buy mats to up grade your gear. Making your character stronger faster then someone who didn't spend real money. With Throne and Liberty's end game almost exclusively revolving around PvP in the form of guild vs guild siege battles. All it takes is few of the big guilds on your server to have a whale or two in their ranks to make the sieges a stomp fest. There are videos on the Korean servers showing 5 whales holding off 50+ other players in guild vs guild siege battle.
@@sain223 see that was my fear. Lost Ark was so bad with the p2w that I literally had to quit. I was so behind everyone else and there literally is a paywall. When I looked at the shop in T&L I didn’t see that stuff. I wonder if I skimmed a bit too much. I’ll check again - but I really hope they take that out
The weird lock up problems you are having def aren't normal. I have a 12600k and 3060ti and get over 60fps on high settings at 1440p with slight dips when I have like 30+ people around me.
It feels kinda mobile-ish if that makes sense, just like tarisland. It's crazy how a game like WoW that came out almost 20 years ago still feels and plays better
I feel the same way. WoW is the MMO I’ve been stuck in haha for years - as I mention in the video. It’s sad that WoW is still my go to after all this time. Tarisland was okay but not great. This one has the ability to be great but still needs polish
@@timoklein1912 so from what I see it does have transactions - but nothing stood out to me as “pay to win” so far. I can’t say that with 100% certainty there aren’t any pay to win elements but from what I can tell there really isn’t. Not like some titles I’ve played.
I mean. Apparently you can buy materials in the in game shop - which does allow for better gear to be made. But I didn’t see that stuff. So I have to go back and look to confirm

Yeah this game is not going to do well. Another fail for AGS and the dev behind it. Grindy, korean trash generally does not do well here. Even BDO has never had half the success of giants like WoW & FFXIV. It's going to be a very mediocre game.....utterly ruined by a shitty publisher & P2W shenanigans.

I have 0 lag actually one of the least laggiest games. it depends your graphic card might be not that compatible i have a rtx3060ti

@@agiagitator6476 also I found out that it capped and locked at 60fps lol and it was messing me up. So I fixed that. Smooth as butter now

Hey, did you check graphic settings menu? There is a fps limit i think your is locked to 60 suggesting to unlock it. and be sure Vsync is off.
totally agreed. The fps is capped to 60 at default setting. But once you uncapped it, it works great.
