I love this video because its everything that ive been saying to people, everyone from all walks of life desire and buy luxury. They may buy at different price points but they buy. Also luxury isn't dead!!! this isn't the first economic downturn when things even out again people will be back, they always come back lol. I wish people would stop the frenzy and dramatics. Funny everyone complains about price increases and quality yet they still BUY BUY BUY (coughs LV x Takashi Murakami) (coughs Chanel cruise & spring summer)
Luxury as a tangible thing is never going to die as long as we still have trade, shoppers and capitalism. Now what is luxury for me ISN'T what I can afford or aspire to but the intangible things that truly are lux to me. Experiences, time to do whatever I want, the ability to choose from the best (at the price I can easily afford) and ease. Brands that you feature here I prefer because they are NOT COMMON and I wasn't raised to covet the common or to fit in with what everyone is doing. I love that the conversation is still happening, but your channel is really where it's at for me.
Great video , Anesu ❤❤❤ , can't wait for the follow up 😊 I think luxury actually crosses all divides , because it's a very personal thing . We all know people in our lives who appreciate beautiful, well made , finer things , but we also know plenty of people who couldn't really care less ! 😂 I think the biggest learning curve for me was it can be quite a sacrifice at times , so focus on the things that YOU will get pleasure and use from , rather than to impress others or to simply follow a trend 😜 !! x
Thank you! You said it “focus on the things that you will get pleasure from” it takes a lot of mistakes, pressure and heartache for the majority of luxury consumers to get there.
An other great video and thank you for your great worked on the 2 brand Michino Paris and L’etrange Paris . As i know you are in London could you please working on the Metier and Asprey London . I would love to know more about this 2 brands . Thank you a lots and have great week end

@@SoAnesuthank you so much ! Alongside of brand from France i really love this 2 two brands from England. I love how easy to dressing up or down with Metier, the craftsmanship is super i personally love parallel 22, vérité city, roma … and the quilted leather is phenomenal you should check . Thank you again
you look so beautiful! I love Dubai. My family lives there (i live in australia, visit regularly) Its not a forever place, but something you definitely enjoy for what it offers, for the time you are there.
I think the 1% is still supporting the luxury brands as usual but it is the aspirational who have slowed down their purchasing. So that would mean that people who buy a couple pieces of luxury a year are needed to help these brands increase their profits.
I am not sure... LVs numbers are down, and I dont think its guarenteed for them to come back up. Murakami was a quality control, marketing disaster With this, I hope other true luxury brands take the spotlight
I completely agree. At one point luxury fashion was fire! but that was back in 2018 and then 2020 was the peak of luxury but unfortunately we were all in lock down. i think the slow down occured mid 2023? i still make purchases but i limit it to one bag a year and I ask myself if its a piece i have yet to add to my collection. and yes delvaux is the bag of choice. under rated and not well known but i dont like the spot light. but adore the history.I think that purchase will bring peace to my collection ❤❤ love this table talk topic very engauging! I bet your trip to Dubai must of been breath taking!
I agree with you on the numbers. Which Delvaux bag are you eyeing? Dubai blew my mind everything was grand and fabulous. It has to be repeated to be believed.
It's so crass to speak of rich and poor. I'm pretty sure designers cater to those who are interested in quality and those who are interested in logos. Last time I was in gucci I saw their most beautiful and well made bags are absolutely unbranded and also less trendy. Poor people are not all the same, just as rich people are not all the same
The introduction of the credit card is the great equalizer and now you can purchase items by paying small amounts every month. At the end of the day, there exists rich folks and poor folks. It is a reality.

You are on the money! Couldn't have said it better. Human beings are just dramatic we have to accept that and move forward accrodingly.
I have unfollowed so many content creators, for this reason. And many other reasons ..
Ooh no…
i love how thoughtful and observant you are during your travels and how you share your findings with us. much appreciated ❤❤❤

“I wasn’t raised to covet the common” I’m stealing that!
Thank you for this information on luxury and Dubai. I’ve never been but look forward to it.❤
You’re welcome 😊It needs to be experienced once.
Your videos are always so interesting. Thank you

Please provide the names of the brands you mentioned. Thanks
The brands favoured by the wealthy?

Agreed it is a dip in and out of place. To be repeated!
I’m in total agreement with you. I was in Dubai last spring and this was my observation as well.
Dubai is a practical luxury lesson!

Sadly I think they are too big and success to not come back up.

@sholabishop207 you can say that again.
Crazy world we live in. Money is money regardless of whether you are rich or poor, black or white.
