Thank you. When I started first using Zbrush, i used to go with dynamesh all the time. Now i find it easy and quick to work with ZRemesher.

Question about the hPolish Brush : When you say hold down alt : do you mean hold it down before putting down the stroke so I have a the '-' sign?

When I use the tool hpolish for the purpose of the minute 2:05 I do not achieve the same result of your video (refine the edges) when I press alt the tool does the opposite, (makes the edges flat) any recommendations?

Question - is there a way to clean up the pinched/intersecting geometry (like in 3:36) once you're refining your sculpt in higher subdivisions? As in, once you're out of dynamesh and at a million+ polys, what can you do about these messy areas while still keeping them sharp? My problem is that if I try to dynamesh once I start these refined details and crevices, even a high resolution dynamesh with blur set to 0 "blends" all the wrinkles together and destroys the details.
Thank you so much for the content you put up, it's really helpful! :)

Oh, sure; in instances like this, I'd only use dynamesh to get my primary and secondary forms. after that, i'd convert to a zremesh / history project and continue on (video 011 in this series: th-cam.com/play/PLkzopwqcFevZYety_luPvVfQlaHxph4eL.html )

I have a problem. My Hpolish when used with a big size it not only polishes where i want but polishes planes beside it without respecting edges. I work with a mouse not a tablet but yet i expected it to do what people say. How can i fix it to make it work right?

the hpolish brush requires pressure sensitivity to get any sort of fidelity out of it, along with a number of other brushes. you can try lowering your zintensity while using it with a mouse, but the real fix is to get an input device with pressure sensitivity

I love your channel man, your skills are top notch, but you speak-too-fast! lol Im a total noob on zbrush and I love this channel but I just can’t keep up, sigh.

you can slow youtube videos up to .25x; noobs can enjoy at that speed, pros brushing up on new features can watch at 2x - win-win!
