    man, almost 10 years doing 3D, only doing a little zbrush here and there. Never got over the interface/hotkeys to do something from zero in this software.
    Today I found your channel and I'm HYPED.
    Quick, to the point tuts, divided by descriptive titles, explained by a guy who knows his zbrush, this is pure gold! 1000 Thanks!
    Subbed ofc

    i swear i'm missing something. i go to line fill and it shows all the vertices, but how do you hide the vertices? you do it at like 6:58 and i can't for the life of me figure out how to do that

      You should be able to click the faint "Line" word at the top of the PolyF button, and that'll toggle on and off the wireframe (clicking "Fill" next to it will do the same), if that makes sense. If that's not working for some reason I'm not sure what's going on!

    i have a problem, when i draw a selection for polygroups, it copies that selection on the other side. for example, if i draw a circle selection on the right ear the same circle appears also on the left. i tried turning off symmetry and everything but doesnt make a change PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

      if you're doing it from the side orthographic view, it's going to do both sides - just rotate your camera and ctr+shift+alt get rid of the other side - visibility, slicing, and drag-rect masking go through the model, as designed: th-cam.com/video/uLU-_RD5U_w/w-d-xo.html

    Ctrl + Shift + select is moving my Gizmo instead of selecting the polygroup. Can someone help me please! :)

    • @MichaelPavlovich
      @MichaelPavlovich  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      hit the "q" key to get out of gizmo mode and into brush mode

    Ctrl + drag = clean all mask
    Ctrl + click = reverse all mask
    Ctrl + shift + drag = reverse hided part
    Ctrl + shift + click = show all model
    That always confuse me......

    • @MichaelPavlovich
      @MichaelPavlovich  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can do it manually over in the menu with a button, but remembering 4 things that I do 100 times a day was less confusing for me

    • @SChi999
      @SChi999 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MichaelPavlovich I know if I do this 100 times a day, maybe I would be used to it.
      But I still hope, in ZBrush, operation of similar functions can follow same logic.
      Maybe "something + click = reverse" , "something + drag = reset"

      the gear icon has speed controls

    • @rupacustoms90
      @rupacustoms90 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MichaelPavlovich thanks for the reply. I personally do not get it, when one teaches why it should be on high speed. Most of the audience are beginners (calm, slow and steady causes less aggravation and does not discourage). The gear slows down the audio as well which makes no sense in a lesson. Anyway thanks for taking the time to post these vids. I'm not going to be a Zbrush expert, I only needed to apply a quick surface texture for 3d printing. Which took to much work in SW 3D Texture. Bests
