Blimey what a route. Beautiful views but brutal vert 💪💪💪
Thank you so much again. This was a great outing for us. After both having a pretty bad start to the year with bugs (like most people) it’s been a struggle stringing together some of the bigger outings. We’ve a few big ish events again this year so this was such a boost for us. Some very brutal climbs in there too!!
Well done guys,a great run,another fantastic video.🏃🏃
Thank you Tommy, much appreciated 👍
Quality vid and effort
Amazing run both! Well done! It's a daunting route but you made it look enjoyable! Very helpful, pointing out the crags, summits and passes as you went. As someone who isn't familiar with the Lakes, it's nice to put a name to the effort. Looking forward to trying this one. I'll definitely but wanting a tea and pasty afterwards.
Thank you so much. You would love this round, a tough day but you’re well accustomed to them. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on it when you do it 👍
What a tough route! But you had a lovely day for it.
It certainly was a brilliant day, couldn’t ask for more. Glad we managed to get around. Thank you 😊
Can’t wait to give this a bash. But no idea if I’d get round looks like a real challenge. Super running by you both yet again 😎
All you can do is give it a go. Hopefully you’ll get a really nice day and it’s just one summit at a time. Before you know it you’re over half way and mentally you’re well on your way to a completion. Thanks Greg 👍
Great video guys! enjoyed watching that 👌
Thanks Glen. Hope all is well? 👍
Very enjoayable video. One day i'll find the time to do it. Crag hill though will scare the heebie jeebies out of me. Love the little church. Reminds me of the one on the early stages of the Lakeland 100.
Crag Hill is something else! You should definitely try and look at some of these rounds, they’re fantastic days out. I remember the little church at Lakeland and can see how you saw a similarity. Be seeing it again in just under 16 weeks!!
Fantastic views and great running thanks for sharing!
Thank you very much 😊
Awesome job! Thanks for mentioning the nutrition (running my first 50K this year).
Hi Mark! Best of luck with your first 50k. Quite a distance isn’t it? The only issue is you’ll want to go further after it!!
Looked to me like a great test of endurance. I hope you enjoyed it. Such a bonus to be able to run together. I think it would be great, and helpful to us, to just briefly go over some gear items at the start of the run. Not everything - shoes, jacket - anything new - whatever you feel is important or relevant. I know you don't particularly feel comfortable doing gear videos, though. I hope you are both having a lovely Easter. Thank you. 👍
Thank you so much, that’s probably a good idea and can see how it may be useful for some people. Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it as always 👍
I take it back, you got good weather 😃 another great vid, thanks for sharing your journeys 👍🏼
We were definitely treated to some of the Lake Districts finest ☀️ Thanks Simon.
Amazing run, top work! Great to meet you on High Stile
You too! Hope you enjoyed your day 👍
Great video. Well done 👍🍺🍺
Thank you Jeff, appreciate it 👍
Wow! That was a big one! Congratulations. You couldn't ask for a more perfect day. I really enjoyed that thanks! Have a nice relaxing recovery.
Thank you, absolutely loved it. It’s amazing how much the views can help when it’s getting tough. You’re constantly reminded how lucky you are to be there!
Thanks both for taking us on the adventure, that’s a tough day out but you nailed it & you deserved some better weather that’s for sure 👍
Thanks Jon, the weather gods were certainly looking down on us. It’s been a while! Appreciate your comments 👍
Thanks for taking us out with you again guys, great views on that run. Well done!
Thanks for watching Paul, appreciate it 👍
Yet another outstanding video. Brilliant achievement. This is cracking stuff. What a day for it. Definitely on my list for this year. Awesome stuff 😃
Thanks Johnny, can’t recommend the route enough. Also look at 23 before Tea and the Great Gifts Peak rounds too 👍
Wow what a stunning place to have a flapjack another amazing watch guys thank you❤💯
Thanks Trevor. Absolutely needed it at the time. The climb up High Stile is horrendous! Appreciate your comments 😊
Wow guys, you made it look easy. 👏👏😀 Brought back so many good memories from my Tea Round last year. ☺️ Thanks guys for sharing this. 😀👍
Haha, definitely wasn’t easy. It never is! Some brutal climbs as you know but what a day! How could you not love being on the fells? Thanks ☺️
Awesome team 👏 that’s some ascent !! And 29 miles!! Cracking route, lovely filming and views, looked very tough though, even though you two are very experienced . I think watching your videos are as close I will ever get at my age ! Well done to you both 👏👏
Thank you so much Ian, lovely comments. We had a brilliant day out. Very tough but so rewarding 👍
That looked tough - but a great day out. Well done both!
Definitely tough! But yes, a great day out in really good weather. The views were amazing!
Great run brilliant views from Causey Pike on the way back.
Thanks, was a great day and as you say, the views were fantastic. Makes it all worthwhile.
Lovely day for it bet you enjoyed this. Causey is bad one to come down that way I go up the way you came down. Thank you for uploading this video really appreciate it
Thanks Martin, I think we picked a brilliant day for it. The views were incredible. Absolutely love the route but the climbs up to High Stile (especially) and Whiteless Pike are never ending!!
Well done guys .
Thanks Ken, good day for it 👍
Absolutely fantastic you guys always a pleasure to watch you, well done 👏
Cheryl can you recommend a sports bra please?
Thank you so much, really appreciate your comments.
I wear Salomon Elevate Move On sports bras. Got lucky at Cheshire Oaks Salomon shop and got a couple for around half price!
Cheers I will certainly give them a go. :)
That looked a fantastic route, well done.
Just curious Cheryl as to what your little cuddly toy is on your backpack? Noticed that it’s out with you on majority of your adventures 😊.
Thank you ☺️
It’s a highland cow and is out with me every time I take my pack 🐮
Quality as usual. Whats next on the cards.
Thanks Mike, back in the lakes for a few more training runs and then we have the Fellsman in a month. Looking forward to it!
@@TrailRunningCouple Good luck with that. I need to get over for LL100 training.
Thanks Mike. No finer training than this route…
We’ve stayed away from the recce days, hoping it’ll feel new again come July!
@@TrailRunningCouple Never done a recce ever 😂
Is that your second go! Im still yet to try it. Did espresso 2 years ago nearly!
Yes, did it in April 2022. Beat that time by 10 minutes yesterday. We also done the Espresso twice, again a brilliant route 👍
Absolutely beautiful Run that , can i just ask .. where did you get a wife like that , did you win a raffle , or by mail order or did Santa claus drop her down your chimney on christmas day ... i have been single around 11 / 12 years or so and im about to turn 56yrs in june .. i could be happy for the remainder of my time here with a wife like that , im often running mountains , roads and the treadmill or at Events ... am i just too slow to catch one , like the guy who asked what the farmer what 3 legged chicken tastes like .. 😂😅 dont know the farmer replied ive never been able to catch one yet 😂 ... lol great couple you hoth are ❤

I definitely got lucky when I met Cheryl at a local running club. We’re a perfect match and love our time on the fells together. Thank you ☺️
