Beautiful results. Thank you so much for the update. It's nice seeing proof that your method works. So many youtubers don't do that and viewers are left wondering. Great job!!
I'm so glad you made an update video of this last yr when you did these! I've not ever done propagation like this with my turtles or hearts so I'm excited to hopefully get some results. I do know that for when they dry out, watering is ok. Don't have to replace the miss Everytime it dries which is helpful. Then it doesn't
Oh also, when I watched the 1st video of someone else's with doing this method, she let them in the tray for a couple months and then when she was repotting them into a pot, she filled a pot with succy soil and then poured the whole pas of moss into her hand and tipped them into the pot that way. So easy!
Hello!☺️ Any long fibered sphagnum moss will get the job done! I usually use whichever is available at Home Depot or Lowe’s at the time! But I do prefer sphagnum moss for orchids which is usually higher quality. It’s softer, fluffier, and cleaner (you’ll usually find twigs and leaves in lower quality sphagnum moss lol) Better-Gro www.homedepot.com/p/Better-Gro-190-cu-in-Orchid-Moss-50450/100165159 Gubler www.lowes.com/pd/Gubler-Orchid-Moss-2-cu-ft-Potting-Soil-Mix/1002646998 These are 2 brands I’m using now and are great to begin with! Hello!☺️ The container I used did not have holes in it. I completely closed 3 sides and left one corner open for air circulation. I also opened the lid multiple times a day to check progress(also cause I’m so impatient lol😅) which helped with circulation too. Thanks for your question& THANKS for watching!🌱💕
Hi!✨ Fortunately I did not have any fungi problems in the sphagnum moss! I did always leave one corner of the container cracked open for air circulation, also popped the lid off multiple times a day to check on them (just cause i couldn’t help myself 😅) Maybe the extra air circulation is helpful? Hope this helps! Thank you for watching!😊
Oooh nooo! I’m so sorry to hear that!☹️ were you able to save your String of Turtles?? I ended up transferring the cuttings to soil not long after this video was posted in in fear of mold and rot. Come check for the update real soon! Have a wonderful day!😁
Hello!🤗 Yes! I believe green Sphagnum moss will work just fine! As long as it has the ability to retain moisture and dries properly so roots don’t get soggy and rot. THANKS!🤍 for your question and for tuning in!🤗🌱
Oooh yes I do! Thanks for asking!☺️ IG: @jennie.moon.bloom I should have an update video posted within the next couple days! I greatly appreciate you for staying tuned in!🤗🌱

Continuing on from my message that sent on accident, then it doesn't damage the roots moving them around. So excited though!
you should just spray the moss when it gets dry, that way you dont run the risk of pulling off roots as they grow more
Ahh why didn’t I think of that! Lol😅 that makes so much sense! thanks for the tip! Aaand thank you for watching!💕
Too much transferring stress the plants too
Love the results
Very Interesting!!
Thank you! Thanks for checking it out!
Thanks for the great info
Thanks for watching!😊
I would have added a bit of liquid fertilizer in some filtered water, instead of disturbing the roots.
Just a tip I got from Harli G.
Thanks. Always appreciate the feed back.✨
Nice video
Glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you!
Do you think this method would work for chain of hearts plant?
Why not just re-wet the spagnum they were already in?
What brand of moss do you use? I’ve never used it before and don’t know where to start.

Hi does the contain have holes in it for air or do you uncover it every so often?

Is it okay if my sphagnum moss is green?

Mine is green and works perfectly
Do you have an Instagram that we can follow the journey of these string of turtles? :) hahaha
