I have TD & dystonia from an anti-nausea named Reglan/Maxalon aka meta-clopramide. It took my doctor some convincing to send me to a neurologist because he felt that only antidepressants can create drug-induced tremors. I was so relieved to get a diagnosis from the neurologist. Good on you for focusing on the subject. When I was first affected by the doctors injection, I've had resting tremors for about 4 months and walked like a 90 year old lady. I felt like I had drug induced parkinsonism. Thank goodness that side of things settled down. But still suffer from text, muscle spasms and a are crawling tingly feeling under my skin

Since taking antibiotics my mum 85 has literally gone dementia and body weakness and tremor, hallucinations, memory loss and total confusion. I want my mum back but it's like she's gone in her brain and total body weakness. She took Trimethoprim a few times this year, after 3 tablets she became dementia. She's never recovered since her last dose. She was 85 but had good cognitive function before taking Trimethoprim. Then I searched antibiotic / medication induced dementia and was shocked to see such side effects in certain people.

I hope your grandma came good from that. Sometimes when the elderly get a UTI, it's almost like they get Alzheimer's or dementia overnight.
I hope you were able to establish the reaction to the antibiotics that she took🙏🏽

Excellent teaching! My husband has tremors. He's been on anti-depressants for over 20 years and now has tremors. All the symptoms of parkinsons! I wish you were in Ohio! He also is mentally addicted to aspirins for many years. I'm working on that now!

Can you talk more about leg tremors and cerebellar stroke? My neuroligist think it is from leg weakness but I don't agree.

My dad has essential tremors. I used to eat Cannibis THC gummies but noticed that I started to loose control of my left hand and it would shake. That scared me enough to stop!

Double blind studies etc that you mentioned over the counter medicine doesn’t have regarding it’s efficacy and safety is worrisome, but more worrying is the billions of dollars big pharma companies have been fined for selling dangerous ineffective drugs that have been through very expensive and extensive testing during their numerous trials etc

This is good to know. My arm and leg tremors were caused by a glucocorticoids (steroid) injection. I'm hoping the tremors go away when the steroid effect wears off. Any other solutions?

Can changes be seen in the cerebellum using CT scan or would an MRI be needed ? I’m experiencing balance problems for the past year and will be seeing a specialist in movement disorders. I’m unable to stand on one leg,nor walk heel to toe without falling over. Spacial awareness is also affected. I was diagnosed for essential tremor but now my GP is thinking I may have been misdiagnosed. I wonder if I will need an MRI done.

@@NYDBLoCK I had to wait an almost a year for the MRI and now am waiting for the results. Neurologist mentioned two things ,a brain tumor or vestibular neuritis . I’m praying it isn’t a tumor.
