    Air travels up between the walls of the stove and is introduced to the fire via the holes around the top of the stove. This causes the smoke to combust. Very nice design.

    Great info, concise presentation. I'm getting my Ranger out for the first time and firing it up for Thanksgiving. Now that I've seen the flame and understand that the heat stays in the stove, I'm willing to use it on the screened patio. Keep having fun!

      Miami, the heat and what little smoke there is goes up. If your patio has a roof or ceiling, be careful. You could stain it or start a fire.
