      I've used pellets and I got 1 pounds bag of smoking wood chunks. Both work well. It's a small hot space so refilling happens fairly soon. I think for me, it's been more like every 10 minutes that I drop another small chunk it. Thanks for commenting.

    Well, you found out the problem with Ozark Trail cast iron pretty quick. It disintegrates paper towels when I wipe it down with oil. I've never had that issue with Lodge. The Lodge cast iron is more like an orange peel texture, but the Ozark Trail is just plain sandpaper texture. I stick with Lodge.

    I have a couple Ozark Trail griddles that I forgot out on the patio over this last winter. Had to use the wire wheel on an angle grinder to knock off all the rust. Then reseasoned them on the grill. Made steak and asparagus for the wife and I for lunch that day. I prefer to do this work outside as my wife isn't horrible fond of the fumes it can cause.

    An excellent presentation. Well spoken, no wasted chat, just a good solid review. Just what I needed. Still trying to decide between the Mesa, the Mesa XL, and the little backpack Lite stove (although I think I'm eliminating the Lite since we have a B camper and are never going to be heading off and cooking in the wilderness.) Marshmallows or a couple of sausages are about as fancy as we need to get. Bonus: nice to see someone in my age range! Subscribed!

    I just bought the exact same stove at Target for $36.62 after a recent freezing wind storm -15 F and power outage 12/23/22. I looked at many other stoves that had self igniters and other supposed features, but still chose the coleman classic 2 burner stove. The reason is that this stove is simple and easy to clean. The less complicated a thing is, the more reliable and the least mechanisms to go wrong. I also found out that if you DISCONNECT Propane bottle and one at a time remove the fuel adjustment knob screw. (in the off position) #2) remove the knob, then nut holding the stem/needle valve and put the knob back on W/out the screw. #3) then turn knob counter clockwise to remove the needle. #4) then clean off the factory grease W/ only a paper towel, then twisting paper towel to a point so to clean the orifice that the pin came out of. (No Q tips) #5) after that, replace it with a very Thin coat of Silicone Grease or spray to protect the O - rings/pin. #6) reverse the procedures to reassemble and #7) Repeat with second knob assembly ... and Voila ! The coleman classic now has fine tune burner adjustment. Video tutorial - [ Coleman Camp Stove Fix - How to Adjust Flames ] can be found on YT

    • @swaggypanda3879
      @swaggypanda3879 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have one, if your wanting heat you have to be prepared with enough fuel to keep it raging, if you keep the mesa constantly topped off it will rage pretty well and put off enough heat to have a lawn chair fairly close to it and sit. The heat is almost directly-directed up, so sitting close and leaning forward will give you nice warmth. Almost little heat is produced from the sides. But like I said you need to have the little stove constantly topped off for it to really rip. Ive gotten mine to put out a solid 5 foot flame.
