Do you need to solder all sides of the metal for a tactile button? and can I solder the other side to the same wire?

I have a question do all switches in a keyboard come soldered in? Because I was planning on getting a new keyboard that isn't membrane and I was just wondering.

Mechanical keyboards are individual switches

depends on the keyboard but most of them have hardsoldered mechanical switches but you can find some hotswappable ones
