    Me looking at this video remembering how I used to do my thing back in the day with a rustic nail and some players next to a stove. That’s all I needed and Burned my fingers plenty of times but I fixed my old russian devices in Cuba plenty of times like that. So glad that technology and living in the USA has given me such level of comfort that now I don’t have to use the nail and the players anymore. No more burning finger tips either. Great video. Thanks

      Wow, that’s actually very smart (minus the risk you were taking). Really puts in perspective how differently some people live their lives outside the US. How has it been lately?

      @@Pluto-ek3mh Back when I was in uni (I'm Greek by the way), I used to spend quite some time with one of our professors, helping him on a project. He would surprise me here and there by the way he was thinking outside the box. He would always tell me this: "Never forget you are a descendant of Ulysses".

    I think you can benefit from using some additional flux because it appeared that the solder was having a problem sticking to the copper pads on a few of your joints. But otherwise great intro video to soldering and as always keep up the great work.

    Oh my gosh, this is exactly what I needed!!!! I been doing soldering wrong all this time, I voted for this!!! I'm glad you got to make it!!! I ruined 2 soldering kits because I didn't know the proper way to use it. It was a hit and miss. Thanks for the video!!! It will help a lot of us out!!!

    I know a lot of people said to add more flux, and that does help, but your soldering tip needs better care. That’s why you weren’t able to tack on the solder like you should’ve been able to.
    With that said, I love your video format. Hope the soldering improves and you’re golden 👍🏼

    First off, love your content. That being said I can tell you're very new at soldering. The script was perfect, everything you were saying was right on point. However, the actual soldering was very sloppy. I just wish you would have practiced a little more yourself before making a video for your subscribers. The actual video portion of this upload was horrendous. My apologies for the constructive criticism.

    • @Msdcc
      @Msdcc 2 ปีที่แล้ว +33

      This is not constructive criticism because you do provide specific examples of HOW it can be improved or WHY it is sloppy. You are being too vague when you say "just practice more". How does he need to practice it differently to improve? I am not saying you're wrong, but this isn't the helpful constructive comment you intended it to be. You need to be specific.

    • @jeremiahthompson82
      @jeremiahthompson82 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Please go make your own video showing how to properly solder instead of placing your constructive criticism here.

    • @nintendope1
      @nintendope1 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Msdcc he needs to practice more. The more you practice, the better you'll get at anything. He doesn't need to practice differently, he just needs to practice more. I don't need to explain why it was sloppy, the videos shows it. Sheesh, criticizing my comment.. don't you have anything better to do?
