VF2 is THEE game that made me fall in love with 3-D games. I was so enamored by the astonishing attract mode alone. It was a visually appealing master piece that blew my 10 year old mind. I was born on 2/18/1984 which makes me 40 now. This game was so fluid and realistic for a 1994 game. Kage Maru, Pai Chan, Sara Bryant, and Lion Rafale are my mains in this game. Thanks for uploading this retrospective brother Nomad Jock.
One of my favorite fighting games of all time!! When I first saw this game in the arcades it blew my mind and I was absolutely addicted to it! I chose the Sega Saturn over the Playstation for this game. I played the Saturn port non stop for months!!
That Saturn version was divine. I loved maxing the stage size with invulnerability on and my friend and I would have Forever Fights where the only way to win was trying to get a Ring Out in a massive 50x50 ring, lol
Pai has always been my favorite Virtua Fighter though I'm not sure if I ever played the first game. I know the arcade version of 2 was the first game in the series I played.
I got sick of the interlacing on Saturn after playing the arcade version but settled with a Retroarch core (mednafen?) and a good interlaced CRT filter, otherwise Kronos did a fairly good job I think. Cool vid too :D

One of the best fighting games in history. It was a revolution. I played a lot at the arcade and on the Sega Saturn. 🇧🇷
