I go to Estes Park every fall, during the rut. The park turns a beautiful yellow/ orange with the leaves. In the distance you can hear the bugle of bull elks. Sometimes you get to watch them fight each other as well.
Kurt, I'm on the road more than I'm home. Watching your videos gives me the bit of home I'm missing. Though I don't have a family to go back to. Thank you for sharing yours with all of us.
Take those trips whenever you can. Savor the moments. The kids will be gone on their own way too soon. Thank you for sharing the fun. God bless.

I'm a 67 year retired machinist. I have always enjoyed your vids. Love your F-350. I have a 2006 F-250 with 350,000 + miles on it and it's still going. Thanks for bringing me along with you and your family along with you on your trip. Glad to see Opie again too. Liked the Vette but like the W900 better. It's a truck thing.

You can get that rock chip fixed. Just go to an auto parts place and get the windshield repair kit. It's very easy to do

Estes Park has always been very busy in the afternoons, can't hardly walk down a sidewalk but about 5 pm everybody just disappears and then it's a great place to be. We usually start in Estes Park and then head on south and west, Gunison, Dunrago, Lake City and Dillon. Last few times left the pickup and trailer in Estes and headed off on the Wing

Think Estes Park was founded by Stanley Brothers (like Stanley Steamer). My Grandpa worked for one of the Stanley Brothers there before WW1. He returned to Illinois in time to be drafted into the Army..

Do you ever think about how most places you go, most people have probably eaten something you hauled with your truck? Now with TH-cam, some of them have also seen your videos, though I'd say the eaters probably still outnumber the watchers over 100:1.

Lived in Co multiple years never had any desire to go to any tourist spots, except Ouray, but then I was wheeling the trails that keep getting easier for turrons to drive their cars on.

Hello all this is Mr. adventure I have been to Estes Park many times with my family love the place. I’m glad you got to be there. It also took many years of me going there to get to the top of the mountain because of the snow in the summer, but I finally made it. Enjoy your vacation and I hope the truck gets fixed. Estes Park is just on the other side of trail ridge road, from where I used to live. God's country there.
Back a few years ago I delivered a new pickup truck from Wisconsin to Southern Mississippi. I was driving the trade in back on a very hot Sunday and the truck overheated badly. I had it towed to a car dealership for repairs. I got a rental car and went back to Wisconsin, it took the dealership six weeks before they even looked at the truck...good luck !

We are from Colorado and moved to Iowa 2 yrs ago. Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park is beautiful. But in the recent yrs it has become very difficult to enjoy. Used to be very peaceful now we find our peace here in Iowa. Stay off I70...😂
