An amazing tutorial/walkthrough. I have watched many SP videos but never seen those anchors used so well. I only hope my machine won't choke. Cheers!

Tip number 3 with combining multiple layers into one to use as an Anchor is extremely helpful, I have been trying to figure this out for a while and you just cleared it up for me! Thank you for the awesome tutorial :)

I don't understand how your details look so crisp!!! What are your UDIMs and texel density like? What's your texture resolution?

Thank you so much for this Great Tutorial, this is the first tutorial that i found, that clearly explains how to use painted Height data with Achors. Most of them Only show how to use the Normal map data as a anchor input. Although it's still not 100% clear to me, for example why i'm not able to directly anchor a Generator to a fill layer / or Paint layer that has the height channel activated. And it does work when using Hard Surface (Normals). But when you create a Fill Layer and set that to Pass Through it doesn magicly work :-s Can you explain?

Do you have any more little tips and tricks like you showed at the end of this video? I feel like you could create a gumroad series or even a bunch of videos on here that people would just devour! I know I would because everything you've demonstrated so far is exactly how Substance should be used but no one else is using it like this... 😂

I’m curious why you would choose using artwork with color id’s rather than just make the artwork black and white. There is one benefit I see right off the bat which is having individual controls for each part of the logo. Are there any others that I’m not seeing?

  • @cr3d294

Your pass through trick doesn't work for me. I have a folder with my height information but adding a layer and setting the height channel to passthrough doesn't do anything. It just ignores it.

you're going to fast to explaing steps...Some steps im unable to understand while i had seen repeat the video.
Explain the steps in details and slowy with purpose of doing stuff. We can't get it easily...you almost waste so much time even i feel like to quit the video at the half! Overall, your knowledge is far good but we couldn't catch you up with. Thanks for reading this...

@@AJ3DVFX I'm just confused about one area, how you got that logo to appear on the other side of the anchor?
