I find you 'jump' to things that need to get done now. You need storage now. Simply common sense and of the folks that are annoyed or don't get that...well, they may have other under lying issues. We are along for the ride. And I appreciate it. While I watch you it's a good time for me to make out a short list of today todo's. When the ride is no longer appealing, get off. It's my thought that most of us wish we had your energy, drive and vision.

Yeah, people have been getting really weird lately about "finishing things". I don't get it. We need a storage building so that we can protect our tools and clear off our porches so we can finish our home. Everything works together. This is all part of finishing the projects. But some people have just become needlessly angry and impatient. We just do what we can and we're personally really happy with everything that we have gotten done so far.

    Hi Family,
Oh yeah I would have removed the bathroom also, good call!
    It’s gonna be a phenomenal work/storage shop.
I don’t know why anyone would care if y’all jump around
on projects, I’d watch ya if you split wood, or swept all day.
As talented you are, you make everything interesting.
I’m Here to back you up no matter what ya do!
Stay safe, and God Bless ❤
    Hi Belle and Maverick 😘
So glad the storms are passed and you guys

The hutch looks great in there. The bathroom area for storage is a smart move. Go ahead and jump around from project to project, whatever makes you happy. I love what ever you all do. Evee got a good chuckle out of the toilet removal, 😅. ❤

I have been watching you for a few years now and I have never been bored or disappointed about anything you post. I always wanted to comment but never have because I read all the other comments and someone else has already said what I would have said. I do remember thinking while in Michigan (I think) that Evee (Ashley at that time was all we knew) was not very happy in the later months before you just up and moved to Florida. (I was born and raised in Florida but live in North Carolina now) She has seemed so contented and Happy where you are now and that makes me happy too! By the way I am almost 77 years old and have a lot of spare time on my hands so keep the videos coming and I'll definitely keep watching and enjoying. Your children are so well mannered and they seem very happy too. God bless your family.

Ooh!! I just had a grand idea!!!! You could extend the roof to make it a carport style and that would give you a covered space outside of the storage trailer to actually do the work!! It is the variety of things that you do that keeps us watching. You never get boring. You really need storage space right now so it is not a problem at all to me that you are leaving other things unfinished. I know you will get back to the mobile home and other projects when you have more important things done. I agree with you that you don't need a bathroom in your storage shed. You've made some good progress and we look forward to seeing you continue with the demolition.

You’re doing great for your family and that’s what counts. I’m hoping that hurricane Milton didn’t cause any problems for you. My heart aches for all those affected by it. Such devastation. Speaking of jumping from project to project, I'm not saying this is why you do it. But for me, as an artist who paints and someone who also writes, because I love detail in both genres I will be hit with sudden inspiration, and I know exactly what I want to accomplish. So I'll go very strong on whatever I'm working on and I won't quit until I've reached a satisfactory point where I've basically reached my initial goal thus far. Even though I'm, in no way giving up on the project, I've at least accomplished enough at that point that I'm comfortable with stepping back and taking a break for a while. I then begin working on a different project. Because it's the one that is currently exciting and feels new and fresh. After a while, the original project seems new and fresh again, so, I return to it with new inspiration, and eventually finish it. It always turns out much better than I had initially anticipated because I won't touch a project without feeling inspired. Inspiration is something you can't force. It's way too late for this but, in short, jumping from project to project happens and regardless of the reason people do so, each one knows what's best in their own case. ( I told you I like, detail 😊)
Anyway, this was a fun video! It gives us an opportunity to see how you handle each project,---what you would do the same vs what you would choose to do differently.
Take care! See you guys in the next video. Bye 👋
Hi kids!👋 Bye kids! 👋 Have fun!

One of his neighbors, who always had issues with everyone, had said something to him. He told him it was his new flower pot!! So that made the neighbor mad!! He got some dirt and flowers and planted them in the toilet!! Thanks for the laugh!!!

It was great for hot tea, hot cocoa, instant oatmeal, etc. I will probably add one in my next house. Very convenient, no heating the kitchen, no microwave beeps, etc. I do not need a pot-filler over the cook surface but hot water on-demand was more useful than I ever imagined.

Take another look at our channel. We finish things all the time... Don't treat us like fools. Bow window restored, trees down, front landing built, front addition painted, front addition siding installed. That was like all within the last month or so. Let's not forget that we built a swingset, made gardens, finished almost every room in our home, each consisting of many projects, restored vintage mirrors, built a workshop out of an enclosed trailer. Also, repaired all the rot in our mobile home; Replaced the roof, painted the siding, framed all the interior walls, installed electrical, did plumbing. Installed and finished drywall. Installed and painted all the ceilings. Installed light fixtures and a new medicine cabinet. This can go on and on. Then we go back to Michigan where we completed 100's of more projects renovating an entire home, inside and out by ourselves and finished every job. We also completely restored the barn inside and out, and transformed the property. Then we move back to Indiana where we restored another old barn and did amazing work on our single wide mobile home. We refinished it inside and out, renovated the kitchen and made lots of improvements. Before that, at our first home we showed putting a new roof our home, rebuilding our foundation, building a greenhouse, etc.
We are working on projects continually. Our channel is about the progress and the projects. It seems like people don't want us to be working on projects, but then we would have no videos. We have to start new projects as we finish old projects or else we come to a standstill. And sometimes you just have to take on projects you don't expect, like when something breaks.

What did that sticker say ?
Danger: The Turds in this toilet 🚽 are explosive 🧨 & toxic ? 😂🤣 I'm sorry guys but I busted a gut laughing 😂 uncontrollably when I saw that Danger sticker on the toilet 🚽 seat & lid 😂🤣.
And Ashley had already got me laughing saying Doug was doing the toilet wobble carrying the toilet 🚽 & the Danger sticker just got me laughing so hard 😂🤣

When you get around to that composting toilet be sure you read Joe Jenkins book The Humanure Handbook. It’s great. That part of my fantasy plan for my house in the future, lol.

An outdoor shower is a great idea!!!!!! When we built our home here in Florida, we put a shower on the outside of the cabana bath because when we worked in the yard we could shower off and not track dirt into the house. Watching you ( waddle the toilet ) outside made me laugh so hard and right now here in Florida cleaning up after 2 hurricanes and all the tornadoes in my area I needed that. So happy you have another solution for a work shop.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

First thing I would do Doug is build a Massive deck off the side and put a roof over the whole lot about a foot off the office building for ventilation and cooling , next I would build a ramp up to the deck and then I would install a roller door too.
Easy way to create a outdoor workshop.

Excited for the next video. I love watching you work on things and give me lots of ideas. Glad Eevee and you will get your own spaces. Awesome. Will you have a noise barrier between the two rooms or have music playing as you work. Fun times and excited to see what Eevee's hobbies are and what she enjoys doing!
Rock on and the kids can enjoy coming in and doing things as well.
    Best of luck...........
    Blessings

Absolutely time to prepare new trailer for necessary storage ... a must do seeing the shop/storage trailer got crushed. You two have always finished things! Love the eventual plan for outdoor shower and composting toilet. I have taken out a couple toilets in my time but I always have to remove tank because the two pieces together are too heavy for me to lift, even back when I was much stronger.
