Had one of the best hunts in my life last night. Didn't fill my tag but I scored it 8/10. I took 2 off because a small 6 busted my sent, but I seen a buck I shot in Nov. He is healthy and leading the pack! I took your previous advice about not taking does and being careful and I have the safety spot in the neighborhood!! Thank you🙏💯
Awesome videos!!. I'm a self taught bow hunter in Michigan. I only hunt public land and in Michigan is a challenge on its own lol. I really appreciate all the videos and knowledge that you pass on to us in your videos on TH-cam. I have learned so much from your videos it has totally changed my experiences in the woods and I love it!! Thanks again and hope to get the chance to meet you if your ever in the Michigan area!
Very, very few...to be honest hardly anyone is hunting in general. In extreme northern WI yes ..but there is no open season there. Very rare ...not a true concern in any way.
I know up here in Maine the deer losing their horns pretty fast how come your state allows hunting all the way until January 31st and the other states it stops you know by the 14th of December they give us the reason that the does are well into their pregnancy by then. Would you agree with that or no we do supplemental feeding during the winter on my property and we saw you know two good size bucks sparring the other night would you say that there's a doe around that's in heat
Saw 2 big 10 points in with 6 does here in Missouri Friday afternoon January 6th still seeing bucks on trail cams with antlers. My season is done broke my right arm bad.
Jeff, I have a question on the rabbit homes, I have a point on my property that the neighbor has a stand on the property line, since I cant hunt deer there, do you think I should build up the rabbit/small game cover? thanks
Their stand has been there for years and I don't want to start a fight with them, like first one gets to hunt the spot. Trying to be friendly, putting my stand up close, hopefully a better spot to intercept deer
@@lwdeer1 ok there is a couple factors here it all depends on who they are as people. Also it will have to deal with who is the larger property owner. If they have a smaller piece and are nice just let it slide and see if you can work together to make it 1 bigger hinting property. My situation where I have 20 and they have 200. I tried talking to them and they were dix. The old man also liked berating someone that fell 80ft has a severe brain injury to the point they made him break down and cry while I wasn't there. My dad is who it was. They trespass on our property in the middle of the night sneak in and fish. I have them spotlighting my property which is illegal in ohio. I have them on film riding there sidexside right up to the property line 100 yards from my stand revving their engines up just staring at me. And crossing the property line to cut up trees right beside my stands a day after I get a massive 13 on cam. My advice start by being nice and neighborly they might surprise you like my animal loving Peta neighbors. But if they are duesches like the farm that owns the 3 major businesses in my area and thinks they own everything just cause they have money and can do whatever they want....... let me know I have tips on how to deal with em as long as you have calls into the police in your area. My neighbors have the whole community against em
Killed my second biggest buck January 10th. Played cat and mouse with him all season. I own 5.9 acres of hard woods and I have had a couple doe families living in a briar thicket since august. I had a camera running since October and I had two mature bucks coming through regularly but rarely in shooting light. I watched as the mature does got bred the bucks eventually left December 3rd. I missed a couple daylight opportunities in that time frame. 4 weeks passed and out of no where the biggest came back and I noticed him pushing around a doe fawn so I hunted two mornings later but they were already locked down. I hunted the next two days straight and on the second evening I killed that oldest buck coming back in to pick off one of the other doe fawns. 25 1/8 inside spread. Second time I’ve ever experienced the “3rd rut” in January in my 22 years of hunting. But I am usually tagged out by turkey day.

Solid advice as always, saw your interview on Newsmax yesterday, glad to see the need for hunting being discussed. Fantastic job.
Deer are starting to pack in to my rye, thank you for that tip.
Thanks Jeff, God Bless. Happy New Year to all.

Found my target buck (and the only one that's worth shooting this year) dead in my neighbors pasture, so we're looking to next year now
Great Video ! Thank you so much 🦌👍🏼
Thanks Jeff!
Dan infalt was saying that there are also alot of shed bucks and buttons getting shot during the doe hunt in January. You see this as well?

I found 3 sheds yesterday while checking my trail cams. Wasn’t even looking for them or expecting to find any.

Why can't you hunt there just cause the niegbor put up a stand?
Put up rabitat and a permanent stand !

You pay for 100% of your land. Don’t give an inch. The neighbor is stealing valuable influence on your hunt.
