I am worried about this little cub, for he is not supposed to come out and roar when his mom is not here to protect him and when predators are everywhere. I hope he won't do it again.

No kidding! The thing that is so great about lions is that their love is as ferocious as their kills. The few humans who have grown up with them get accepted into their prides and the emotion and affection the lions feel for their humans is off the charts, especially when they're been separated for awhile. Amazing animals.
I once was present for a big lion roar at a zoo, I cannot describe how hearing it in videos/movies does not do it justice. You can literally feel your chest vibrating, it brings a primal fear that every human has. I wasnt even looking at the exhibit so it really left an impression on me just how unexpected it was. Just imagine our ancestors hearing it for real, knowing the thing is not in a cage and all you have is a pointy stick
