I will never figure out how on earth these two didn’t see what was right in front of them. The entire town saw it! Even Emily saw it.

I think they both always knew that they liked each other. But when someone means soo much to you and is such a cornerstone in your life, you don't want to mess it up. Cuz if they got together and it didn't work out, it would be even more devastating to both of them. So I think they were both just scared as hell of losing each other.
Lauren Graham is one of the best actresses ever. She knows exactly how to portray every single thought and feeling just right. Even the thoughts and feelings we don't always have a name for, somehow her eyes and her face have names for them all.
I like her character in Zoey's extraordinary playlist too

I’ve always wondered that! Like she was asking him not to date a chilton mom because she wants to keep her chilton life from her stars hollow life yet she dated max. I could totally see Luke ranting about the hypocrisy of the situation 😂

I saw a bunch of comments on a different video saying Lorelai was "out of line" for saying that to Jess cuz she was commenting on his situation. F that, no she wasn't. She gave a speech about Luke being a great, resourceful, supportive dude and that Stars Hollow is a nice town that should be given a chance to someone new to town. That's it. That's all I heard and I've watched this scene multiple times. All of that just for Jess to say some BS about "you must be getting some" to a GROWN WOMAN. Not gonna lie, he deserved to get smacked.
100%, people glorify Jess. He is great, I like him but he was horrible to Luke, Lorelai, Dean and hell even Rory
The only people who says that are Jess's fan and he can't do anything wrong.
@@stuffwithsoph8264 This. Jess was a good kid buried under a mountain of trauma, and he acted out A LOT. He deserves credit for the things he does right, but I'll never understand how people can ignore and excuse the bad things he does. Just because his actions are understandable in context does not make them excusable. He had a bunch of growing up to do. Though the other side of that coin is that Lorelai was/is VERY MUCH like Jess and yet never gives him a shred of sympathy beyond this first meeting.
@@thefairybug40 Lorelai tried but tbf he got Rory into the car accident, she was valid to want her kid away from him and dislike him, but she came around eventually and first approached him w empathy. I stan both but Jess was problematic af and I hate that people glorify him even if he is a king.
Yeah! This is why I get annoyed seeing Jess and I had to stop watching but later on I got used to it.

Recently, caught the last scene of 'The Way We Were' with Streisand&Redford, saw some snippets I'd missed last saw the flick; then, I read the comments with people remarking the way I would, before a line that stopped me cold.
Girl saw film with her grandmother whom declared S&R the 'biggest fools' for throwing their once-in-a-lifetime away, for reasons that didn't matter. And, both S&R realized what they'd done, made all the more apparent with the TH-cam video...and, of course, some pages in the Book of Life are more weighty; so once turned, can never be turned back.
Gilmore Gals was a favorite wayz back, and though I had a crush for Suki, Lorelai and Luke never coulda figured.
