Especially on the east side by those islands and the boat channel I have caught trout to 28” and reds. Thanks for sharing to others. You are rare sharing like this. Thanks. Brings back a lot of great memories.
I have fished Red Dot since I was a kid, it is awesome. I like to fish the corner of the pier with live bait/ popping cork or top water toward the bridge. Don't fish the bottom because you will get snagged every time. Another great video.
Yea good spot. And there is a pipeline that runs from the bridge almost parallel to the pier. So you gotta kinda where it is. Buddy of mine's family owns it. Good people.
Cool welcome to the channel. Check out the other spot videos will get you a good start. If you see me out there don't hesitate to say hi. Thanks for watching
Google earth on a computer. Maps are normally recent so they show more details because water is low. Very awesome tool to see the structure. Thanks for the question. Live bait in the drop off and flats are killing it right now. Tight lines
Hey Bro - really good video. Always enjoy your channel. Keep them coming. Yes working those channels are always a good place to check out. Always see bait in those holes. FYI - the way to remember the red / green is R R R. Red light returning on your right. So on your return back to shore it’s easy to remember the red on you right. Take care & keep them tight. Old navy trick to remember the red / green markers
Awesome dude. I really didn't know . Really interesting. It's easy to remember and won't forget thank you for this. Tight lines and thanks for watching.
I'm just getting started in fishing. Took my son out there and we fished around the big island that is a bird sancutary. Caught one small trout just where your video said they would be. Can you give ma some advice: What would you use to fish the dropoffs? I want to go back again.
as far as bait goes if your trying for drum the best bait is Crab cut in half or fiddler crabs. works good for drum and Reds plus bait stealers dont mess with it to much.. cut mullet will work good too
Sorry Hector miss read it. As far as wake bait. 6th sense is the best I've used. Also yozuri 3dr wake baits are pretty good they have 2 smaller sizes but work good have caught. I have tried all kinds
What are the currents like along the channel fronting that long pier? Curious if I would have to go against a strong current heading back from the southside to the launch site.

If new to lures. I would start with Gulp swimming mullet. Otherwise paddle tails or shrimp imitation like savage gear shrimp. Otherwise live shrimp

Bluff's Landing Marina is $20 to launch!!!! Ridiculous!
5 dollars for kayaks. But dude if it's that much yea I 20 bux is flats I thought but yea a bit much

Currents are swirling pretty good in front the pier on the left staring up bait. But not enough to worry about
Thanks for watching Charles
