I followed George’s tutorial, and it really was quite simple, looks much worse than it is, 10 minutes to completely change the air filter and remove the snorkel. Removing the air intake snorkel gives the exhaust a much deeper note, excellent upgrade. Thanks George for giving simple advice, you give me confidence to undertake jobs on all my bikes.
My 2019 Scrambler 1200XC actually came with a tool for for getting at the filter that clips onto the underside of the pop-off plastic cover. Granted, it's just a cheap little "L" shaped Torx tool, but it was thoughtful of Triumph, none the less.
Hello, i have a Thruxton 1200 from 2019. The Engine is basicaly the same. Do i understand exactly: if i change the Airfilter on my bike to a washable filter, and do the 20 minute reset, the bike will set itself up for the Free Flowing Airfilter? wouldn't run in leaner as before? Many thanks!
Good morning TEC...when I check to see what shipping is in my cart, on your website, I click update and it “loads” for a second then reverts back to the cart page but without updating the shipping cost. I live in Oregon (US)...could that be the issue? I’m particularly interested in this filter! I just had my 10k service done yesterday and although my stock filter looked perfect, I asked if they (the dealership) had a HF filter option and they did not...I wish I had a DNA for them to slap in! Thanks for you help!
Great video I'm hoping to get a speed twin this summer. Are the specs for the US market the same as over there. You say the euro specs are restrictive. Also do you ship to the us. Thanx keep up the great work
@@bertagriese8282 No, not right. Messing with those electrical components will quickly result in failed parts and shorting wires , especially after a few heat/cold cycles. It would have been easy to make the air filter access from the top. Or put all the electrical under the seat and charge the air box shape to use the space currently taken up with electrical. Air filters require frequent service. Electrical equipment seldom needs attention unless messed with. This bike is designed to fail .

OMG. What about the oilfilter, do you change that thrue the sparkplughole ??
thanks for this great video! I have already searched for a guide to get to the filter. Nice greetings from Germany
Great video, very informative. Would this have the same results on the new Triumph Scrambler 1200X ?
I took the rubber air filter restrictor off and turned it round and put it back in so the snorkel points down towards the air filter.
Love the paddock stand. Where did you get?
Hi George, Will the auto adjust work for the decat? Ie can it compensate that much?
Added one to my T120 and it was a huge improvement over stock air filter.

Do you need a booster plug for a 2024 triumph scrambler 1200xe? I’m getting the dna exhaust and shotgun cutoff exhaust
With the intake snorkel I just turned it around n it directs the air straight onto the air filter...
is your scrambler equipped with a trickle charger quick connection on the left side ?
Hi George, does the ECU auto learn function fight against the booster plug and therefore over time render it pointless??
Another highly informative and helpful video thank you George!
G'day George, is removal of the snorkel on a 2022 Scrambler 1200 (euro 5?) advisable?
Great tutorial as always George 👍🏻
Ok to use filter skins with this?
Quick and easy, as things should be
If a full exhaust + air filter change and mod was completed. Will auto adjust be enough or do you need power comander? Love your work!!

It’s the same for the bobber 2021 ??

Hi we have the Speed Twin parts on our US web shop www.tecbikepartsusa.com
@@georgemilburn6213 cool thanx
OMG. Millions of cables 😱
I thought my speed twin was a pain in the ass.
Why didn’t they keep it simple like the speed twin etc dayummm
The excessive amount of work required to access the air filter is redicaless , bad design from manufacturer of motorcycles.
about average these days, due to all the extra kit required for ABS and electronic aids etc I have seen a lot worse !
Says the one who has never designed anything in his life, right?
