I don't even have my Triumph Scrambler yet. And I don't even know if I want a tail tidy. But I do know that this video was exceptionally shot, hugely informative, and of the highest quality. I can only hope that any shop I have work on my bike is as calm and conscientious as you are in their work. 👊🏻
I've seen lots of people deleting their rear fender for looks, but they are functional. If you like having dirty road water on your back side, go for it... Not me.
Wow, not a basic install. You did a thorough job, just not sure I want to go through all that and get smaller signals too. There should just be a way to keep the factory lights/signals, and just shorten up all that plastic they make bike manufacturers put on.
Recently a friend of mine told me why I spent so much time seeing Dels videos... I just told him... You like seeing videos working on bikes right? So just pick up randomly any one and then tell me something... Result... He subscribed and has past the last week spending hours seeing lots of videos of this channel. You make the difference. And this video is just one of the meny examples... for some one how likes to do something around there bike. Onece again... A big thanks.
Hi Alfonso, thank you so much for taking the time to drop us a line, and also for letting us know your friend is also enjoying the Channel and the videos we make... we like to share what we do, and if that can help, or inspire, another rider that's fantastic to hear! Thank you for your support and do also pass on our best wishes to your friend, we appreciate you both watching... have a great weekend, all the best from us both.
I just want to ask where can I get the OEM full tail lights /turn signal assembly with the plastic fender underneath…my turn signal got broken and it has craked all the way to the neck of the right rear turn signal…thanks!
Hi Del. As ever a quality install so brilliantly described. My recently bought 2019xe already has the tec tailtidy but I will be changing the indicators with the tec . Question if you can advise please - Do I need to buy the two hole to single indicator lamp adapters for the rear as well as the front? Merry Christmas to you and yours. Ps How long have you had your xe?
Hi Jamie, Thanks for your kind words mate. You'll only need the double bolt brackets for the front, as the TEC tail tidy has just a single bolt hole for the back indicators and its the right size.. You can actually fit them to the front without the adapters, but you'd need to drill out the factory bracket hole to 10mm, and the indicators will end up a little close together! Have a great Christmas too mate, and yeah, i got the big Scrambler a couple of months ago.!
This is a 1200 Scrambler, not introduced till 2019... so the one you're looking to is an earlier 865 model.. they are the same quality and build finish all the way. !

Brilliant video and looks like a nice piece of kit. I love it when someone makes it a plug and play so it looks professional. I did this myself to my 82 Yamaha Seca but it was all on me to make it look and function well. Stay healthy
l fitted an Evotech tail tidy to my Street Triple 675... it looked great..it looked like a factory item....l took the bike for an ITV (MOT) .it failed straight away, because it didn't comply to homologation, same applied to my slip on Exan exhaust. So beware of future legislation regarding aftermarket parts...España is a wonderful country for biking buts its legislation regarding originality (homologation) is draconian...
At first glance, I thought this was Penny’s bike you were redoing and thought wow I must have missed a few videos 😂. Those new Scramblers sure do look fun. May have to swing a leg over one in the near future.

At first quick glance though I thought I missed a few episodes of work on Penny's ride. 😄 Thank you Del and Penny for the great and consistent quality videos you share with us. Blessings to you both. ❤👍👍
Thank you so much Rick, yes I have to admit the phone charging tray does make me feel a little old!... I don't think I'll ever use it, but it could be handy for plugging in a sat nav maybe (which I also don't use as I'm old and i use road signs lol)... thanks for your kind words, it's always great to hear from you, have a fabulous weekend, D&Px
Great video Del & Penny. Excellent install mate, looks sweet. The 1200 scrambler is one very sharp bike. Penny and you have a relaxing weekend, take care. Cheers
Thanks from Canada. I've had my cobalt blue scrambler for over a year now and have been looking for a tail tidy and matching signal lights that don't look out of place on the bike. This to me is the ideal set up. My Zard slip on is far enough away. Thanks again, ordering these parts today.
Hi Del, i put the TEC tail tidy on my Speed Twin. I watched the Missenden Flyers video on how to do it, which made the task much easier. Certainly makes the bike look much better. My other mod is i`ve adapted a Street Cup seat cowl onto the Speed Twin seat, improves the look no end.
Really Kwel video.. I don’t care much for tiny turn signals, sure love the tail lights, really awesome. Wiring is something I hate in tight spots. You sure made it look very easy!! 🤙 great video!!

Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the video, a simple enough job but fiddly with the wiring for sure.. Glad you like the bike, They're absolutely amazing to ride.! Take care too and have a great weekend mate.
A user tip from that tec bike part! Make sure you bend the bracket enough to allow the suspension when fully compressed to have clearance! Unless you want to be buying a new plate and having to try and re-bend the bracket back into place…
Good advice buddy, I bent it maybe 10 degrees more before assembly... should have mentioned it... it is actually mentioned by George in the TEC assembly video too!
You said that right brother.. it's about time you got that Triumph, specially for where you live.. i can imagine how much fun it would be riding around NYC at night in the summer, Have a great weekend both of you and stay safe..D&Pxx
