    I made this recipe a few days ago. A dozen eggs - they’re gone - everyone of them. They didn’t even have a chance to throughly marinate. Oh my gosh they are so good.

    Making a second batch, these are good. I reduced the salt to 1 tbl and added sliced carrots and extra garlic. And I do include 2 sliced jalapenos. Definitely taste better after 2 - 3 weeks in the fridge. Thanks for the recipe.

    I followed this almost exactly, only difference I smoked the jalapeno slices and fresh garlic cloves, put the eggs jalapenos and cloves in the jar then poured the brine mixture as you had it, a little less salt and sugar but same ingredients, sea salt. Once I poured the vinegar brine in it started bubbling there was definitely a reaction going on

      I see many people heat the vinegar and seasoning/spices over a stove..
      In this video you added the vinegar without heating...
      Do you know the pro's and cons of both methods

    • @TripleAstyle1
      @TripleAstyle1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@camposvazquez I think its just to blend the sugar and salt into the water to make a brine. You can also just mix it well before pouring it in. Be careful using the hot liquid method as the eggs will cook slightly more when you add it, just like anything else you add boiling liquid to when pickling.

    • @moonpatrol1912

      you dont need sugar, its only added for a sweeter egg. How do you feel about using beet juice? I use it all the time, not sure if thats the same as using sugar.

    • @getsum697

      @@moonpatrol1912 we made beet juice pickled eggs, were ok and family ate them in a week. I want to make some high intensity garlic eggs. I'll try without sugar and play around with peppers, peppers and garlic, and just garlic. We have 18 chickens and winter is over so we're getting buried in eggs! Good problem to have.

    • @beebop9808

      You can but the vinegar is just there for acid to kill all the bacteria and yeasts. Pickled eggs are good, fermented eggs can get you dead. But most of the flavor is going to be used up from your peppers, garlic and spice. Fresh is best.

    • @Ziplock9000
