This might make people mad, but honestly just sticking to RV, BP, and Twice as a starting point (for girl groups) could be a good idea. Even just checking out what one of the groups has to offer can be time consuming if you have a bunch of other priorities in your life. Speaking of moons, though, you should check out Sunmi. She's a soloist and former member of Wonder Girls, one of the biggest 2nd wave kpop girl groups. Her latest songs Gashina and Heroine are catchy as hell (but I'm totally mentioning her because she has a song called Full Moon).
I think it's a good idea. I actually started with Stayc and their debut, and I've loved everything up untill "Poppy", but I quickly tapped into Red Velvet. I had heard Psycho before somewhere, but had no idea how amazing they turned out to be. Now they're just about the only k-pop I listen to. Including GOT, Boa and their solo stuff. In BLACKPINK 3 out of 4 can speak English. Jennie was born in Korea but she moved to New Zealand when she was young so she was pretty much raised there. Rosé was born in New Zealand but then she moved to Australia Lisa is from Thailand (almost all the idols from Thailand can speak English) but her dad is from Sweden I think (I'm not sure) And Jisoo well she kinda understands most of it but she is son cute when she tries to speak in English 😆💕

I believe, one of the reasons kpop is this appealing, is that it brings three elements together which work really well combined. It has the music, but what people really dig - is the style, the make-overs with each comeback. People really love to watch make-overs. Then you also have this whole series vibe going, its almost like watching X-factor, make-over and abdc all at once. Rosé was born in New Zealand but then she moved to Australia

I believe, one of the reasons kpop is this appealing, is that it brings three elements together which work really well combined. It has the music, but what people really dig - is the style, the make-overs with each comeback.
