pov is easily my favorite. I live in that space. The production, her vocals, the lyrics, the harmonies especially. That's a perfect storm of everything right there. I just wish it was longer. Not because it was too short, but because every time I get to the end of the track, I have to start it over. I think “safety net” is a parallel to “in my head”. She’s saying she’s falling again without even second guessing it or overthinking it. And like before she doesn’t want to regret it and for her relationship with him to be all in her head, for it to slap her in the face once again. In safety net she says “is it real this time or is it in my head?” It’s like a follow up to in my head that’s addresses her fears of making the same mistakes.

Honestly, what I really loved about this album is how smooth it is to listen to. I tend to get anxious listening to new music, but like damn I just love being able to listen to a good album and/or playlist without flipping back and forth on Spotify.
