I painted my TJ interior and it all came out well except for the 1/2 door panels. The paint has flaked off of those in some places, especially where my arm sits. I probably should have used an adhesion promoter on those.
Great video! How well is the duplicolor vinyl paint holding up after 3 years? If you were to do this again, would you do anything differently? Thanks!!
It's good, everything held up still but the top of the door panels flaked off after a while from rain. I’ll have to do a 3yr review to show it. Thanks for watching!
I didn’t think about that. That’s a good idea. It would be your choice, if you prefer the glossy look or the flat finish. The clear coat might help making it easier to clean the dash. Thanks for watching!
I liked the video i did my boot a while back only snag is i dont really want to take the whole dash out but maybe do the bottom half ,thanks for the reply
You can use something like a marble and rub it over the scratches to smooth them out a bit. It will make them a lot less noticeable and won't mess up the grain like sanding would.

I’ve had the same issue with my door panels. Especially after a rain, the water makes it flake faster if you wipe it while wet

Good job
Hi just a quick question do you need to clear coat it for added protection once it has dried or is that option your choice

What color is it...I have the same interior thank's.
Wow I gotta get me some of that!
How good is it holding up ?
what color is Black matte or Black Satin ?
How many cans did you need for the full interior?
I think 3 or 4 cans.
Does it cover the scratches
No but the fresh paint still makes it look better and new again!
Kool yea it looks good 👍 great job
