This is a long time coming. Parents MUST be responsible for their kids actions and choices especially with guns. Gun safety and responsibility are important and crucial.
How come the CEO of the gun company that sold him the gun isn't sitting next to him or the director of the bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives?!! How come the father of the son is getting all the blame ... typical hegemony!
Where was the father when his kid got in trouble with the FBI and still turned around and supplied him with a gun? Having a couple of security guards with pistols isn’t going to stop an assault like rifle…
I really feel for this dad .. he gets up and goes to work probably a good day and the next morning is facing 180 yrs in jail .. GODSPEED to all involved PLEASE LORD HAVE MERCY ON US ALL
Why? His son had previously been questioned by the FBI in regard to posting threats online to do the exact thing he ended up doing…then Daddy bought him an AR for Christmas…his son didn’t need a gun, he needed psychiatric help.
DHR had been involved before because of the father's abuse and his mother's drug use and neglect. That's besides the FBI questioning the boy because of previous death threats at school. This man Should have Never purchased a firearm for his child. He is Totally to blame. He's only crying now because he is being held responsible for the poor choices he made in regard to his child.
@@Gav101201 Interesting. Do we know that he bought the gun for himself or for the child for sure? If he did buy it for the child directly I think he should be charged. Kids aren't dumb now adays, if he bought it for himself and the kid stole it. To me that's different.

You failed as a father that’s why those kids are dead. Your fault.

Under 18 years of age , his troubles r just starting 😮😢😮
Hell no give the kid the chair they charge kids in the hood with murder has adults every day.
He knew exactly what he was doing

Father of the year......not. Trun in your man card on your way to the jail.
Imagine getting put in jail for something someone else did just because you share a last name.
He bought the kid and assault rifle after being visited by the FBI warning him about the kid saying he was gonna shoot up a school
I don't understand how the kid got to choose to surrender.
He knew last year how his son was. Should have had a gun safe.
Maybe parents will pay more attention to their children. Where they are, whats on their computers, and not to supply or glorify guns
I doubt it !!! They never learn sh....
So if kids die from drug overdose are yall okay with cahrg8ng parents with neglect using the gin ananology?

So if the kid took the gun that the kid didn't belong to him then that wouldn't make it the father's fault.
If someone takes your gun without your permission ITS ONLY THAT PERSONS FAULT WHAT THEY DO WITH IT .
So by the same logic the School officer should be charge as well for his neglect & the principal teaches niaghbors...
Unless the father beat the kid or some how CAUSED the damage he shouldNOT be charged get rid of that kid.
Not even in jail yet, and he’s already got that head motion down. He’s going to be very popular, I hope he likes holding pockets
Wonder how old the mother is.
This kid was not disturbed that much for no reason.
Read your constitution and turn off the TV once-in-a-lifetime
How this happened??? Where was school security???

Don't worry. Trump will pardon him. That's that privilege.
tRump will never have the opportunity 💙
Why is the parent going to jail?
Why not the school board? Do we even know why the kid did this?
He bought his child a gun. It’s especially worse with the fact that he bought it after his son was flagged by the FBI
