I used to sing it every-night to my daughter when she was really small. Tommy was a wonderful musician. We have a CD of him and Sara (or maybe its Mrs Clancy I'll have to check) and the children reciting all sorts of music of which my daughter knows by heart. She's beginning to learn to read music and I'm always telling her that someday we'll get down to Appalachia and hear the music the Irish took there hundreds of years ago.
