Both of them especially Clancy's have performed this song but I have never listened to it, because I felt that it was beautiful song which needed calm soul and special atmosphere. So I had not listened this song from none of this bands and accidentally I found your version and I do not want to listen to my favorite band or Clancy's. Yesterday before I fell asleep and today in the morning, while I was lying in the bed i was singing this song despite I do not know the lyrics: "Red is the rose... na na na..." I was not actually singing it but I was singing it in my mind without voice and despite my voice is something between Ronnie Drew and Patsy Watchorn (not that level but depth) my mind sang it with your voice and every time is start it again I steel angel's voice from you. It is my dream to meet you and sing this song with our opposite type voices. Thank you for being the way you are.
