Here are some tips from the mistakes I made that could help anyone trying this: >Don't bother getting the Charge/Concentrate shuffle card, as this counts as a rule break (Charge/Concentrate not allowed on the 1st turn). >Bring at least 4 Homunculi for instakills! Legendary mentions this much later in the video but not in the beginning and I missed it so I got killed lol. >For your persona with dark-boosting passives, avoid using Magic Mastery when you already have Dark Driver. Dealing too much damage with the first Theurgy dump on Joker would advance him to his second phase where he gets 3 moves per turn, making things much harder. >I tried beating Joker with just Magic Mastery and no Dark Driver (DLC), and Joker would always survive with a sliver of health and just Sinful Shell me to death, so I'd say DLC is pretty much a must for this method. I might just be unlucky though, so correct me if I'm wrong.

Seeing a video like this that breaks down the setup for this fight gives me a bit more confidence in attempting the Heartless version. 'Cause, tbh, after seeing the additional rules for Heartless Joker, I was initially like, "Yeah, I'll just stick with the regular Joker fight." Already had to do a bit of resource grinding on my first playthrough to beat Joker, though, so I don't mind having to do that for Heartless difficulty. Does kinda suck that there's no additional reward for beating him on Heartless, similar to the Elizabeth fight on Merciless, but I'm still willing to give it a shot.
I managed to pull this strategy off with a small variation where i had to attack twice with junpei for full charge consistency. There were also times where the dark therugy did 5.7k and shoved Joker into the will of rebellion phase. But ya, thanks for the guide and uh…screw this rngfest fight lmao
I’ve been trying to max my party’s health by spamming shuffle times with the Monad doors and praying for fortune cards. It’s been taking a while and am wondering if there is a faster way?
Are there dark boost and dark amp skill cards or do they have to be inherited? If so, where can I get them? I for the life of me have not encountered them as skill cards through all my grinding. I have all the other elemental boost/amp cards but dark.
Your best bet is to get them from Shuffle Time, I had the same issue as you with Pierce and it also took me ages to get Pierce Amp. I farmed the Monad Doors for the guaranteed Shuffle Time Alternatively you could fuse Black Frost and Thanatos and pass Boost and Amp respectively from them. Might honestly be the quicker way
@@Legendaryyy77 Sylphid Aura is casted outside of a battle. It grants the party def/agi buff. I'm not talking about Fuuka theurgy that grants atk/def/agi buff in the fight. It triggers Joker dekaja.
you need to run through alot of monad doors to get the moon husks also make sure u have alot of gems for the armor of light when u go to monad doors ALWAYS pick the right one, the loot is better for those. and make sure its judecca and empyream

@@Legendaryyy77 I have Single-Target Boost. Pierce Boost, Pierce Amp, max stats with buffed attack and charge on Aigis and debuffed def on Joker and with it Shadow Hound is dealing around 3K damage. Maybe I'm missing some damage boost source?
Are there any extra rewards or something else for beating him in Heartless? I honestly don't want to lose mental health here, and if there's nothing extra I'll do it on hard or normal 😅
Oh wow I skipped to next phase with 3 attacks and no aoe phase...😮 I am doing too much damage or mitsuru is too slow to charge theurgy if not hit with fire attack. This boss is just pure rng. You can get everything right and fuka fu*k you. You should be able to choose buff.

You don't need auto skill persona. Just cast Sylphid Aura by Fuuka (press select) before the fight.
