wonderful what a beautiful area, A' Mhaighdean was my 100th munro and a favourite. We camped at Shenavall , then moved on towards An Teallach, camped and walked the two. magic

Thanks Andy! What a tiring, exciting, challenging, beautiful, fun adventure this was! Definitely a stress in the body but that’s not a bad thing and the company was top drawer! We all encouraged each other to keep plodding on! Hats off to anyone who does the entire round in a day…that’s massive. A more relaxed walk this week although still a 50km round! Thanks again mate! Paul

Absolutely amazing effort that! I think without the camping gear it would have been easier but what you did in a day is incredible! I was like a burst baw setting up my tent! At that point we were 13 hours in! 🥴. Paul

Great effort Paul especially with the heavy rucsac. 👍. The Fiaherfield round is an epic trip. We bivied on the slopes of A Mhaighdean at end of day 1.:Then up to the summit and finished on Ruadh Stac Mor with very long walk back to car beyond Sheneval bothy. Well done - a little bit of shame about the weather, still these views you managed to capture were really great 😍😍. Also your gear is brilliant - being able to pack so many things without exceeding 8 kg is really impressive. 👍👍
Yeah hit and miss with the views but that’s the gamble! Thoroughly enjoyable though and a great laugh with the guys. Yeah I wanted to keep below 10kg with water on such a long day so paired it back to the bare essentials. Thanks again Bart and thanks for the support! Paul

That was a fine video. It brought back memories of my ventures into the Fisherfield (unfortunately too old now to repeat). A fine memory was a leaving of A Mhagdean at 1835 one evening and just about making it to the pub in Dundonnell for a celebratory pint……or two….I wasn’t driving! Keep doing it while you can, the day when you cannot reasonably do it comes all too soon.
Thanks very much Robert! I could have done with a pint when we camped at A Mhagdean I tell you! that's a tough old trek and we were all pretty tired by that point...Walking out in the morning was lovely though and will certainly live in the memory for a long time! Wise words and something that I am acutely aware of! thanks again..Paul
Brilliant Paul you captured the trip brilliantly in the memory bank forever, was some effort by all the guys we just kept going , hard to believe all the kit you take with you 😅, i was surprised i fitted everything in.
