    wonderful what a beautiful area, A' Mhaighdean was my 100th munro and a favourite. We camped at Shenavall , then moved on towards An Teallach, camped and walked the two. magic

      Fantastic Vanessa! I had been looking forward to A Mhaighdean the most and unfortunately we missed out on the views but still thoroughly enjoyed this wee adventure! The views over to An Teallach in the morning were incredible! As you say a fantastic area and hopefully get back at some point to get the views!! Cheers. Paul

    Wow...what a superb video..from the scene of the guys riding along on the mountain bikes like cowboys lol to the scenes on each summit...an epic adventure for all you young fellas...I bet Paddy is glad he didn't go on that hike....great pitch for the tents...seems more fun doing a big hike like this with friends rather than solo....many thanks and best wishes.

      Thanks Andy! What a tiring, exciting, challenging, beautiful, fun adventure this was! Definitely a stress in the body but that’s not a bad thing and the company was top drawer! We all encouraged each other to keep plodding on! Hats off to anyone who does the entire round in a day…that’s massive. A more relaxed walk this week although still a 50km round! Thanks again mate! A fine memory was a leaving of A Mhagdean at 1835 one evening and just about making it to the pub in Dundonnell for a celebratory pint……or two….I wasn’t driving! Superb stuff. A wee walk right enough. Thanks for showing us the kit list... I always always struggle with my backpack and would be curious as to how you pack your kit into it so you don't spend the entire walk battling with it (as I do most times... hard enough doing days on the hills never mind fighting with your pack). Fisherfield looks magnificent.

      @PAADVENTURES1  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks very much Andrew! what a fantastic place eh! magnificent indeed.
      Yeah I generally pack considering what I will use as I go and what I will only need at night. In my rucksack my tent goes into the base compartment with my first aid kit. In the main compartment I have a big rubble type bag which I stuff my sleeping bag, mat, pillow, tent clothes and spare clothes into. that gets tied up and kept dry.on top of that I have my cook kit and food. In my brain part of the rucksack is hats, gloves, buff and electrical ditty bag, all easily accessible through the day. In my elasticated pouch externally on the bag I put my waterproofs in and my hip pouches have snacks, compass, GPS AND personal locator. Water just fits in those annoying side pouches!
      Probably hard to visualise that but hope it gives some insight!
