Are you still 12th pass or have done anything? The maximum age to appear for NEET is 15 years which was challanged in Supreme Court and matter is pending. Your appearing NEET will be subject to order. You can surely go internationally without NEET also.

You need to start studying for USMLE from 1st year and appear for USMLE step-1 after 6 months of your Internship ( after 5 years) and Step-2 after finishing Rotations in USA hospitals. From 2020, complete USMLE pattern has changed and now no students should take unless minimum 6 months of Internship.

Why maharashtra govt has banned....do u mean that students doing mbbs from russia , ukrain,etc even in MCI recognised university overseas are not able to apply for PG course through NEXT ?
Yes. Students from Russia , Ukrain even after passing MCI-FMGE, NEXT, NEET-PG cannot even apply to Maharashtra Government and Private colleges. They need to apply to Deemed only with fees above Rs. 1 Crore. Due to very few PG seats in Maharashtra, government has taken such decision. In Maharashtra, Government has banned even applying for Government and Private institutes for MD/MS course. You can only apply to Deemed. Its official notification and has been implemented for last 2 years.

If you have some research exposure, it is possible. Better to enter with Physician Assistant which is 2 years course and then convert to Residency. Else do 1-year Research Fellowship in the USA before applying for a Residency.

We are Career Counsellors and do not guarantee Residency admissions. We guide and mentor students for Residency admissions. USMLE was biggest problem for Indian students which is almost scrapped from 2022 leading to huge serge of admissions. If you are hardworking person, you can easily get Residency admit. Every year 1500-1700 Residency seats going vacant.

Only go to English speaking country if you want to do PG. In India NEXT and in USA - USMLE is purely based upon Clinical experience. Hospital experience is key. You will struggle for 3-4 years even to practice in India if go to Russia. They have bad hospital and clinical experience.

No. To practice in India, NEET is mandatory. You can take NEET next year.

During Residency, most student go with J-1 VISA. If you profile is good, programs may sponsor H1B also.Currently all VISA restrictions announced are not applicable to Doctors. Doctors are in best position.

USMLE is not hard but "Out of Syllabus". Many things are not part of Indian MBBS curriculum or the way it is addressed in USA is different. The way patients are diagnosed in USA are different than India. In view, we need structured training.

@@niranjan1948 % is one of the criteria. You get admit based upon profile. Like not every person gets admits into AIIMS, Delhi, the USA has lots of options. In 2020, 40074 students applied for 37,256 seats which are very easily admitted. However, the choice of programs depends upon the profile for which we have expertise. So 62% is no problem.
