Just gotta pull my extra long socks over my jeans, tuck my shirt into my pants, douse it all in deet, and wear white hoodies in 90° temperatures 👍 Takes your tick count from 15 to 2 in central Oklahoma
Dude you’re an ANIMAL for reaching into that cooler to grab a bullhead. Those damn things have got me so many times I gotta use a net now at all times. 😂😂
I thought the same thing those little needle like spines man I live in Utah where it’s mostly trout first time I caught one I was about fourteen didn’t know anything about them and I got mauled
Number 1. Why is your cooler water greenish? Number 2. Im always so jealous on how small that river is and the quality of fish that come out of it! Number 3. Your buddies green pants are just amazing! 💚 😁
You should try wicked beef jerky. They got real good deals and the best beef jerky I’ve ever had. You could probably get yourself a sponsorship. That’s what I always eat when I’m out on the water. Great video as always brother
I love to pike and musky fish. Running big top water plugs and then all of a sudden the water explodes and they damn near rip the rod out of your hand. That'll get your heart pumping.
Have you ever tried hooking them under the little tendon between their dorsal fin and forehead?? If there’s current they can face into it and stay lively longer... in my opinion
Hey buddy I got a suggestion for bait for ya..down here around Chattanooga chicken livers seem to work great..me and some guys went through about 15lbs of livers in about 7 hours drift fishin...my arm was burnin by the end of that trip..keep landin them giants..
What’s up with the bait cooler? Been trying to figure out the brand and noticed no links on any video. Is it a prototype that your getting to use and I missed it in a video?
Hey Rive rat here, I’m big fan of you and fishing we have some nice fishing holes here in CoMo you should come here I would love to go fishing with you and become River certified!!! 🎣
@@MoTown_Mitch My Dad told me there use to be dozens of places were you can catch them but most of those places dried up. I think I probably caught about 20 of them in an hour. Pretty much every cast I was getting hit by a bullhead. They were tiny too. Mist of them could fit in your hand.
@@RiverCertified I haven’t ever quite been able to work myself up to using a crappie. Lol. I think about it, then I think about fish tacos with crappie meat and try to catch some bluegill
@@andrewcochran7642 I got a good picture. Definitely a yellow bullhead. only record I can find is 6.2 lbs (or 6.6, can't remember) My state doesn't even offer a citation for it though. He was fun as hell to catch. I had to mess with him for almost an hour stealing my bait, I had him pegged for a turtle
Bullheads are the best tasting catfish it's always funny to me to see people use them to catch catfish that taste like mud. But I get it's for the fight and thrill of a monster cat
Spencer, I recently got heavily into Flathead fishing in Arizona. I only have one spot I of close to me with flats. First 2 days in a row of fishinf there late may I caught 2 flats each night with a lot of runs. Ever since (maybe 5 trips) I have not got a bite. Do you think this is because of spawn? Or you hve any advice? Thank you
Good job on the fish man. I finally caught my first flathead last weekend. It was only five pounds but I was happy with it.
Want to know a funny thing he was my old science teacher and now he does this
@@fazeobama2748 that’s pretty cool man. Some how I just can’t see him being a teacher
@@claytonbrock2464 Ik I can’t believe he was but hey he was and now he is doing good on TH-cam so ya
Caught my first yesterday
I'm trying to catch my first one too
Nothing like 2 friends fishing together, fun times will always be had even if there are no fish. Tonight the fish were hitting. Good for Ryan.
Gotta agree Harry. I try to just enjoy the experience!
*Drops bullhead* "Sorry". *Instantly puts hook through the bullhead*
Jack Links peppered steak is my favorite. I also love pizza flavor combos and ranch flavor corn nuts.
Walking through that jungle is how you get on TICK-Tock. Ha? ... was worth a shot.
It's called tick city

Dubble sided tape works the best doesn't look cool but no ticks
I like that guy you're fishing with. He seems like good company.
I couldn't ask for better
The beaver always waits until it's pitch black out and swims within 10ft and slaps it's damn tail. KAABOOOMMMM
Damn, your live bait is bigger than most fish I catch ! 😂
I’ve been watching RC for the last hour rigging up for tonight then this drops, talk about meant to be
Nice man. Going for flattys?
It's good that you can bring a friend fishing and have twice as many baits in the water .
A couple of good ones for sure. Big bullheads must be the ticket
Busch-light and flathead fishing is a awesome combo, sprinkle in a bit of beef jerky and you have yourself a good evening
Agreed. A good time was definitely had. Thanks for watching!
I love that body of water for jumbo catfish
Love having Ryan on the vids. Two funny guys some fishing and a good time

Lol u guys weak I don't care if I get poked try getting bit by a walleye I only have 9 and a half finger now
@@FishingAdventure-bn5ffit’s easy to keep your fingers out of a walleye mouth. Bullhead thrash around and will get you.

Solution the keep the gosh lively
Keep posting these. Im working 6 days a week and dont have time to fish so these help
I'll keep doing my best! Hope you find some time!
Sounds like a stoner convo. Life is life! 👌🏻🔥
great video. 2 better than none. hate the bugs but friends to share them priceless lol. stay safe.
One of my best flat head fishing spots I call "Beaver Slaap"! We live on the same fishing holes... Tight lines bro!
Ah yes the first minute of the video just brings back memories of more poison ivy, saw grass, and nettles😆
Don't forget ticks...there seems to be an abundance of those evil little critters this year!
Lions, tigers and bears oh my
Way to go nice fish keep them lines tight brother
Great time and video Spencer thanks
Loved that spot yall were fishing, very cool place to hang out and fish for the night!
The awkward moment when his bait is bigger than the fish that you catch lol.
Nice looking flat heads guys
I live on Truman Lake Missouri..alot of 50 to 70 pounders...Blue Cats been caught this year..thanks
I've heard many good things. Jealous of your fishery
Yep have to agree enjoy seeing you and Ryan and Sam too
I tried to talk sam into going. He's been working a bunch lately.
Will you do a walk through of the bait tank setup ?
It’s hush hush lol. I can’t find it anywhere.
Man, when you popped that cooler lid,I knew it was on and cracking....Good shit, again!!
I'm looking forward to those days. Glad ya digged the video man!
Let's go! I just got off work and been looking forward to this video!
7:21 was just icing on the cake! Great video man
Cubs fan for life buddy!!
Hell yes!
Good to see you outfished. I couldn't fish there with the bugs. I'm spoiled in AZ. Enjoy
They aren't a problem till the lights come on. I suppose at least we don't have rattlesnakes and scorpions
I would be fishing but I am in Wyoming instead of at home... But hey I’m at Devils towers!

Ryan is a fisherman! Usually is such a nice guy and is always netting you and Sams fish. Lol
Ryan's about as good of a dude as you will find, at least if you ask me
So what would be the benefit of switching to a fixed sinker rig as opposed to the slide?
When you are fishing extremely thick cover during the day, it's easier to get your rig unsnagged when it gets snagged.
@@RiverCertified thanks 👍🐟
Nice cats. Fun video. Thanks.

Bro great work. 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼I don’t know how you push through those bugs. That’s one thing I can’t do.
It's not bad. They only come over when I turn the light on.
A tiki torch will solve the bug problem. They fly too close to the flame and burn their wings off. Plus they give off a good amount of light.
Sweet catfish. Great job.
Great video as always! You’ve inspired me to chase big flathead!
Good luck man!
Anderson Point on Fort Peck has 3 foot long catfish.
Nice nite fishing with friends

Book a guide trip. I'd do my best to make it happen!
How do we book one spenser?
What’s up with the bait cooler? Been trying to figure out the brand and noticed no links on any video. Is it a prototype that your getting to use and I missed it in a video?
I bought a Berkeley Baitcaster Big Game Combo . I had some trouble trying to figure out the Spool tensioner/Spool Brake. Please make a "How to video".
Please 🥺🙏
Need to see you and your family on a trip
I hump a lantern with two tanks just to cook the bugs. Having a light source always on is a plus to haha.
