- Take a Bow by Rihanna is featured in Showmance, the second episode of Season One. It is sung by Rachel with Mercedes and Tina providing back-up vocals.
Rachel sings this in the auditorium with Mercedes and Tina, due to the fact that Finn runs away from their kiss, causing her to think that she had done something wrong. She is especially dismayed at how she continually sees him comforting and kissing Quinn.

what emotion? she has no cry in this version no emotion what so ever she's singing it like she's on Broadway (which she didn't deserve by the way) she just works hard which in broad way won't get you far you need to have talent and she has nothing to offer for glee club the other singers show more talent than she ever has you know perfect pitch doesn't last forever right? as you age it gets less "perfect" I'm sorry I will never like Rachel Lea Michele said she HATED her character Rachel

But for you to say she has no talent and nothing to offer... I'm sorry but you should buy yourself a new pair of ears. All Rachel/Lea haters agree that she has a great voice. Many vocal coaches have reacted to her singing here on TH-cam, some of them even admitting they did not like her. Still, they ALL admitted Rachel/Lea's amazing voice and singing skills. The girl HAS talent. So you can hate her, but if your opinion on her vocal talents is based only on the fact that you hate her, then you have a completely biased judgement.
Holy moly, the clarity of her voice is incredible.

Someone said that this is the hardest song for leading vocally. Well, she must’ve worked her ass off and it. Damn sure paid off because she’s amazing but then she’s amazing at every song she sings.

@Coco_Butter you are ridiculous this was only the 4th episode it was the first time she said it and he literally took it away as punishment but did not punish anyone else. On top of that her give the song to quin who is one of the weaker singers and he knows bully Rachel.
Well Rachel always wants to be a star and expects it, so when she's not she thinks it's about punishment not about giving someone else the spotlight

Season 1 Lea was so goddamn adorable! She's still gorgeous, but I wish she hasn't changed her hair/eyebrows/make-up to look like every other generic Instagram model. She had such a unique look.

But I can see her being very unguarded with her heart and easily falling for him

I don’t give a damn what anybody says Rachel‘s right? And Will is acting like a damn idiot. If it wasn’t for Rachel, they wouldn’t win the majority of their competitions and he knows it just as well as they all know it. oh, and by the way, she’s got the best diction and the most clarity of anybody on this show and I mean anybody you can understand every word every syllable, and every note is clear and crisp. There’s no messy there’s no muddled it’s clears a bell from top to bottom. She is without a doubt the best vocalist on this show, and she proves it because she can sing anything yes, this may have been the hardest song for her to sing vocally and I don’t deny that but I’ll be damned if she doesn’t do a damn good job with it because she does and she proves that she can sing anything that anybody gives her.
