What I don't get is that the assignments Mr. Schue gave were to strengthen the bond between them all and to instill unity. So, if they're so happy and having fun while performing with each other, does it really matter if they didn't go according to the assignments?

I have a theory about the gang joining the song and it’s based on the final chorus where they are pointing at Rachel. A lot of them may had heard what happened and were upset that Finn dumped Rachel just because he wanted to date other girls and went on a date with Brittany and Santana right after that. Brittany and Santana might’ve joined the song because they didn’t like how easy it was to get Finn to go on a date. As for Kurt he might’ve not joined in at first because of his crush on Finn but then he decided that he didn’t like how Finn just dumped Rachel.
My sisters told me one night when I was watching glee for the 100th time lol they said you need to get into a different show than glee and I Said there is litterly no show that is better than glee or top glee I am a proud gleek and I will watch or be obsessed with glee til the day I die heck I wanna glee wedding when and if I ever get married lol 😆 and give my kids glee names I already have them picked out lol 😆 I love this show
