I was never a fan of Adam on Man vs. Food, I always thought he was annoying and acted way too corny but I’ve turned a corner watching him on these videos. You actually get to see his true personality and he’s absolutely delightful, someone you’d love to invite over to your house for a cookout and watch the game
Yo, the only other one that is similar to this would be San Diego and Tijuana. As San Diego finally get a professional soccer team. Actually, they managed to receive 2!! (USL & NISL)
Pleased to see Adam doing these videos. What I especially enjoy is the fact Adam calls it football and uses proper terminology as opposed to the rest of the yanks who call it “soccer” and haven’t a clue about The Beautiful Game. Cheers Adam!
@John Doe Walk into a pub in the Midlands or the North East and call it “soccer”, you’ll be asking Father Christmas for new front teeth. Now sod off you prat
@John Doe I personally call it football as I think it's a bit more sensible, but I'd have to agree. Point is, being contrarian purely for the sake of displaying your supposed, naive conceptualization of freedom is characterically American.
Look words are just more than their definition, they have a certain accompanying culture. If we take this into account then it will be clear why English fans(and most others globally) so vehemently want to call the beautiful game football.
@John Doe Again, the cultural connotation ascribed to the alternatives varies depending on culture. Look at the purpose and not the definition that is attributed to a word.
No, no, a football pitch in the middle of a baseball one, too wrong, these is not the real spirit of football, I´d recommend you go downwards in the country too look on Guadalajara vs Atlas, America vs UNAM, even Monterrey vs Tigres but the north side haven´t football tradition, not even speak good neither english nor spanish, they are just new clubs that in a few years will disapear.
YES please show more USL and MX culture! Awesome series
This series is really, really good
Food and football is the only thing I love with passion.
@Mr Foxx That is, of course, a sure thing man.

as a concept for a show there's nothing fundamentally wrong with this but the editing feels a bit on the hyperactive side

His Man vs. Food show was really popular here in the states for a number of years. Good to see him back doing what he does best.

Mole is not just Chiles and Chocolate. Its complex sauces of many varieties. As a Gringo I don't want you to miseducate other Gringos.
thats not a quesadilla , its a empalme (two tortillas put together like a sandwich)
@Liam 96 not really, quesadilla is only with cheese and one tortilla. Empalme its with two tortillas cheese and beans.

Football matches in baseball stadiums. I see, the U.S. still hasn't advanced their game.
