About Public Tours
The Martin Factory tour is a guided, one-hour tour through our world-renowned factory in Nazareth, PA. Experience first-hand the handmade craftsmanship that goes into every instrument we make and learn about our history and culture.
Pre-registration online is required. Register here.
Tour cost is $5.00 per person and benefits the Martin Guitar Charitable Foundation.
Tour groups are limited to 8 people per tour.
Check in 15 minutes prior to your tour start time.
Arriving late may cause you to miss your tour.
You must cancel at least 24 hours before your tour to receive a refund. View our cancellation policy here.
The use of headphones is required to hear your tour guide. Headphones are included in your tour fee. Learn more.
Closed-toed, rubber-soled shoes are recommended.

I started playing guitar back in 1974, for the most part I only played my Les Paul and Stratocaster.
I'd owned acoustic guitars, however I still much preferred my electric solid bodies.
That all changed back in 2001 when I found and purchased a Martin JC-16 KWS.
I am blown away at what a machine my Martin acoustic is, I'd never personally realized how rewarding it can be to play a quality acoustic guitar.
Just amazing design and craftsmanship, with new strings my Martin sounds like a piano!
At the end of the day, if I had to choose only one of my many guitars to own, it would be the Martin.

You can feel the passion of the guide and those he introduced us to. You can also feel it when you strum one of their guitars. Mine is a custom shop dread with Adi top and tigerwood back/sides. I’d love to teach the world to sing, AND play guitar. A cold cola is optional.
I've watched a bunch of these and this is the best one I've seen; no lie! Super good tour guide and Play & Trade guy didn't ask stupid questions or otherwise interfere with the presentation. P&T guy did nothing and did it well; congrats!
