When you really think about it, if the story is true, they had a lifelong cash cow, if they pushed to hard at first, he may just go to police, they had him fearful of being set up for Dans murder . It's odd that the expectation for Dan Markell was to leave his tenured position at FSU in Tallahassee to live where his wife had decided to move to. That's quite the unrealistic request from the Adelson's.
You apparently didnt listen to this trial! It's said to compensate for his COMMUTE to/from his job from where they're at. But yes, it's unrealistic for them to attempt it with such PUSHY person like Dan M according to their intepretation of him, those kind of people would just do the opposite of what you want to make your life harder, 1M is not ENOUGH to change that mindset. However, I thought this Charlie said the OFFER was NEVER MADE to that Dan, they were just talking among the family themselves.
If Dan loved his kids and they loved their grandparents, he should have been unselfish and moved closer to them.
Charlie was almost tearing up when his attorney asked him if he has any children. The fact that he could possibly go to jail for life and not see his own son grow up.
