Ironically, I think if the defense atty & Charlie only talked for an hour, and then said “every other call was along these lines, as based on the extortion”, I would have been more likely to give him the benefit of the doubt. But as they continue talking, Charlie becomes more & more unbelievable. And Georgia or her prosecution partner will tear him up tomorrow. He’ll stay the course, but it’s not going to be pretty.

He also knows or guesses that there was no DNA evidence left in the kill vehicle. He also is offering to pay the 5K dollar extortion fee when a sane person would take the matter to the police and set up the extortion as a sting.
He also suggests that h will kill the extortionist with a pistol that Charlie does own. Why end up with a possible murder rap and a 20 year sentence over an extortion that has noting to do with you ?

I really was starting to wonder if Wendi arranged the murder and set her brother up but after his testimony today I am confident he arranged the murder. Wendi was in on it too.
Wendi threw her brother under the bus when she told investigators about the joke her brother told (I decided to get you a TV instead of a hit man to kill your ex husband). This was a private joke between the two of them and had it not been for that joke; I doubt the prosecutors would have looked at her brother that closely from the beginning. So from the very beginning Wendi pointed the finger at him.
Why he's still willing back Wendi I'll never know. Wendi has manipulation down to a fine art.

Lawyer is merely expressing what the prosecution might say - playing devil's advocate.

    Prime example of
Why ppl should discipline their children during the ages of
    5 - 18 yrs of age
Listening to this guy trying to explain himself outta a situation he ( himself) has created is absolutely unbelievable and comical 😂😂😂😂😂😂
    The part about Jimmy Hoffa
    😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
    Too funny !!
Who’s going to believe that Charlie isn’t guilty
    Who’s going to believe
    Donna isn’t Guilty
Who’s going to believe Wendy isn’t guilty- only a fool would believe these ppl aren’t guilty!

Why hasn’t anyone asked him WHY he’s so comfortable believing the bump is the police… hasnt he been hiding from them for almost 2 years at the his point, but he’s all comfy if the police are extorting him? Please make this make sense.

Rushbaum did ask him, he said he knew his family wasn’t in danger if it was a cop undercover thing. He was relieved.

If it’s a real threat, smart to go to the cops. If it’s the cops, smart to go to the cops.
