She could have cooperated long back and saved Dan's family so much anguish, which she cold-heartedly did not as she thought they will get away with it. She also made state spend millions of dollars on two of her trials. There should be no mercy to Katherine. Katherine was the principal factor in Dan's murder.

DEAL/NO DEAL: She chose to protect and keep the father of her children over the guarantee of being able to avoid prison, which would have also given her the ability to be a mother and have a parent raise their children. For me, and I would imagine most all defense attorneys, this would be a no brainer of a choice. Yet.. she chose poorly. One can only wonder what was the motivation???
