- Wendi Adelson, the ex-wife of murdered FSU professor Dan Markel, testified in her brother’s murder trial Thursday. Wendi Adelson said her relationship with rocky with Markel and she ultimately chose to end their marriage. She testified that Charlie Adelson never mentioned hiring a hitman to her specifically and if he ever did make such a statement, it was as a joke. Prosecutors believe Charlie Adelson recruited three people to kill Markel so Wendi Adelson could have full custody of the children they had together.

He was admired so much for being a genius and she was pampered at home to believe she is the best. In Toronto he was and is known to be brilliant, kind and extremely polite. Now that he is no longer with us and can’t talk for himself… she lies to save her neck!

Her mom is right. She is a good actress. She’s sitting there like none of this is a big deal. If she didn’t know what was going on prior to the hit she would be pretty devastated right now. Wendi was the one living in close proximity of her ex while her family live nearly 500 miles away, she was the only one that knew Dan schedule due custody arrangements and living nearby. There are many specialties of law and it’s perfectly plausible that as a non practising lawyer she wouldn’t know. This is one of the most evil families ever. I believe the mother was the mastermind behind the murder for hire plot. The fact that the surrogates they hired to conduct the murders are in jail, yet they have been living free for many years after the murder is sickening. Wendi changed her sons names to her maiden name, how terrible and insulting to Dan’s parents . Morally bankrupt family. They were all in on the plot.
