- Sony a6400 is already 5 years old, believe it or not and with the release of ZV-E10 and a6700 it is worth to look into the question if it is still worth to get this camera today?

Was just thinking I need another Toms video to watch and this has come out. Amazing video as always dude ✌🏻
Haha thanks buddy! One more coming out on Sunday so get ready haha
Just filmed a documentary with 2 a6400s and a banger of a photo shoot using sigma contemporary lenses. The a6400 is an awesome camera. Dont see myself upgrading anytime soon.
Oh thats so awesome to hear. A6400 is definitely a beast especially with those sharp Sigma lenses. My favorite combo!
Keep it up bro❤
Thanks 🔥
Can you tell me the latest video profile for A6400 and detailed settings?
I still use these settings: th-cam.com/video/y_uRYG_tZxs/w-d-xo.html
This AF looks a lot better than the af in the current fujifilm cameras 😅
Bro, all green squares = perfect focus 🙉
Yes, you can give it to a noob 😂
@@sdegio70 *gasps in spanish* it’s you! 😱
迷彩柄に加工してるのがカッコイイ😆👍✨
True !! Right ✨
I needed a camera with a fast autofocus... I didn't want to change the Fuji system and I couldn't afford a Fuji flagship, so the A 6400 was the best choice. Paired with Sigma 56 mm 1.4 it's the perfect combo.Tongue....I see you man:)))) Thank you Toms!
Ohhh the Sigmas 56mm is a killer lens and with a6400 - wow - you definitely know how to make most of your combo! Cheers!
@@TomsJurjaks Thank you so much!
thanks for your nice vids ! it's make me to buy a6400 for the sub camera 😂 support you bro 🙌🙌
Go for it buddy 💪 and thanks for your support 🫶
Awesome video mate! 6400 is a beast cant wait to get mine 😁
Lets goooooo 🔥
@@TomsJurjaks yea boiiiiiiiii 💪💪💪💪

What lens can you recommend for general photography?
Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 is an amazing value for its build quality, sharpness and size. Tamron 17-70mm f2.8 is a bigger, heavier, more expensive, but more versatile lens with bigger reach.
I am not sure if I should go with a6400 or a6500. the only point makes me worries is a6400 doesn't have body stabilization but people say that since lenses are with OSS, there is no difference between a6400 and a6500's stabilization once you walk etc. is it correct?
Hmm... well - there are not that many lenses with OSS (mostly few zooms have, most primes dont have oss). Second, IBIS + OSS is the best option for stability. And lastly - I don't think your footage will be usable if you walk (if you talk about video footage) - you would need a gimbal for that.
@@TomsJurjaks thanks! i bought a sonya6600 and gimbal ahah
I love my Sony a6400!
A6400 rocks 🙌
I love my 6400 but want to get the 6700 for the flip screen
Upgrading to A6700 has been the best decision I've done. Im madly in love with that camera
Hey, my friend. Thanks for the video. I would like to ask you to help me out! I'm a beginner, and I've always dreamed of having a camera since my childhood. Now I decided to buy one. I stuck between A6000 and A6400 (both used). With my budget right now, I can afford an A6000 + Sigma 30mm 1.4 (maybe if I am lucky, a kit lens) or an A6400 + kit lens (both are used).
I searched the whole of TH-cam, and I know how fantastic and necessary it is to have a prime lens like what I mentioned. As the prime lens I mentioned is so expensive in my country, I decided to buy the first setup, but I noticed the colors and low-light performance of the A6400 are much better, and I am worried that I will regret buying the A6000. Sometimes I think I'm a beginner, and the A6000 is enough for me. Can you help me?
I usually to take pictures in the nature or streets or parks. I was looking for a small and light weight camera for that and I think both are ok in these aspects. I do not know when I can buy a prime lens or even if I will like this area or not! Sometimes I get good photos with my phone. Thank you.
Thanks for the elaborate comment. If you only will be focusing on taking photos (no videos) then a6000 will be enough but it is a MUST you get a good lens, like the Sigma 30mm f1.4 you mentioned. It will be a great setup. The kit lens is quite poor, you will get as good photos with your phone as with that lens.
Just remember that camera is important, but the most important thing is the lens in this case.
@@TomsJurjaks Thanks for reading my elaborate comment :) Yeah I've been told the lens is way more important than the body but I watched and read lots of reviews and they just mention A6000 is great but suffers dynamic range problem, bad low-light performance, no touch screen, old sensor, color issue (they say A6400 have much better sharper colors!) As a newbie, I get confused when I hear these complicated and advanced words. I couldn't decide if A6400 is worth for the more money. Camera are not upgraded soon by soon :) Are these differences worth it?
I never used DSLR but watching many POV I think it's worth it at the start.
This one is mirrorless camera though and I would not recommend DSLR even if you start out. It will get harder and harder to sell them. Its an outgoing technology.
@@TomsJurjaks I don't the right word but A7S IV or A6400 are mirrorless?
Yes Damian @@damianwojcikiewicz3951 all Sony cameras are mirrorless (except some realllllly old ones). Maybe you meant Full Frame?
@@TomsJurjaks I'm from Poland and don't know the right, it shows me DSLR. I mean full frame and APS C cameras. What they be named?
I also use the A6400. ㅎㅎ
Awesome! How are you liking it?
I love my a6000 cause i cant afford a6400. 😊
Valid point! I also still love my a6000 even if I have a6400, its a very nice camera to have :)
The fucking shakes with this fucking camera are annoying! I hated it sold it and got the A6700
Like because of the lack of stablizer you mean?.... Sorry, I'm new to camera...
I was amazed by how this people afford those cameras🥹 i wanna be a photographer but i dont have any cameras 🥹
They are too damn expensive 🥵 And then the lenses too...
