I brought the Inscryption video game into real life, by adapting the rules and making tons of custom pieces for my board game.
This video is going over the rules and changes in my board game from the video game version. I'm assuming you've already played before!

My friend and I got ours today and we spend two hours playing the game! Everything about this product is incredible and I'm insanely happy my friend and I were able to get one while we could. I'm excited to play more and see what death card shenanigans I can pull off :)

1:35 you can actually do ouroboros if you use a sleeve and a whiteboard marker and just continuously update the stats lol
The game looks fantastic as hell, but there's no possible way I can afford this. Maybe in 1 or 2 life I can afford one copy of the game, I'm not complaining for the price, I fully understand that the game itself isn't cheap to produce at all.
I'm sadly forced to wait until I can really afford one copy of this fantastic board game without my bank account balance going drastically down.

I almost don't play video games anymore, but Inscryption is a hell of a game. Love it. And will play it again in few years, that's for sure. I can imagine how hard is to create a real life version...

The only thing I would change is flip the direction of the play arrow on the play mat - this way the side with the scale and bell on the left can be the side that plays from left to right - more similar to the game. Then I can take the side that plays with reversed/scale on right - and they can have a more authentic experience, and if I do want to DM as Leshy, it can have no compromises to the player.

Orrrr...... Instead of keeping track of it in your brain. Simply get two colors of dice one you use for negatives, and one you use for positives. For those that play or have played Magic the Gathering. ;)
That good but a little little bit expensive
I'd love to buy it... if it was available. I actually also made my own version of the game irl. Except we used pennies for bones, marbles for damage counters, a wheel for random events, and we made the tipping scale work different cuz I'm dumb, but it worked out pretty alright. We even utilized things like hazards, boss cards, items, deathcards and pelts.
I kinda went the long route. Making it a best of 10 while allowing card pickups in-between rounds. That way the whole rouge like part is intact while having an ever shifting strategy actually be able to take form.
Just in case anyone was interested in how I handled it, basically everything is the same as the game, but you start out the "run" with 5 cards, chosen from 8 random basic cards, and each player gets 8 Squirrels.
-At the end of each round, each player gets a choice of 3 basics, winner gets 4.
-At the end of every 3 rounds, after basic cards are dealt, an event takes place for the winner. Anything from getting an extra card to evolving an insect from their deck. Negative events can occur too.
-And then, at the end of every 5th round, rare cards are dealt to both players instead of basic.
Again, lengthy but it was very fun. Surprisingly balanced too. It ended up being 9-10.

Yeah... I very much doubt you can turn Buckshot Roulette into an actual game. Well, I think you definitely could, but it would be a hardsell for marketers.
Though, I would suggest that the "defibrillator" could be just a simple low-power taser, to give that shock and punishment.
the rules shown here are incredibly unique and ballanced compared to most other types of versions of irl inscryption, and this can easily be adapted to the real thing with a bit of ingeneuity, it would be nice if there was a version people could buy where it comes with everything, and that means everything, all cards such as the ouroboros will be there, and now hear me out...
