I have to agree- I love stuff that works! And this is the old version of the FMS F-15, made with the "breakable" foam. It would have been SMASHED up from that crash!
Hey Steve & Denise had a little misshap with the 1400mm P47 I got from you guys on take off gust of wind caught the rudder on take off witch turned the plane wing tip first rite into the ground WOT no damage other than the gear(cheap FMS design) and even with crashproofing It hit so hard i thought there would more damage, but none. Thanks guys. Pat
Holy dirt nap! That thing went in hard! Well, with Steve they often do... I am very impressed with the crash proofing on this one, without it you would have had a pile of packing peanuts. Excellent work to get that much durability when you have "agricultural interference" of that magnitude. Great Flying, Steve (well, mostly...), and super camera work, Denise! Love these proof of concept type videos.
Ohhh Yeahhh!!!! Crash proofing does work.. This summer I flew my Dynam F6F Hellcat that I put your Max-Crashproofing in.. I also put in a 60 amp esc and 5s 3000mah battery.. On first take-off I didn't counter the torque enough and she flew into the pilots guard pulling out the left wing.. The only damage was the wing mounts ripped out and a bent gear.. So I CA glued the wing back in and re-bent the gear and checked out everything.. All OK.. On 2nd flight she got put fast and high, got her trimmed out and flying good.. after the 2nd circuit around I lost power.. The prop broke in flight.. I dead sticked around and on landing the wing pulled out.. She tumbled on the field.. Everyone was shocked the see it still in one piece after 2 crashes.. Some one said you're lucky.. I said "No".. That's Crash-Proofing.. Thanks Steve..

We sell them- and we have kits so you can reinforce yours. Adding carbon fiber the right way to these planes actually DOES give you results like this after most crashes- brush off the dirt, and launch the plane again!
