It’s a meh kit but good work, 72nd isn’t a easy scale imo. Very fiddly, fine detail and tight places to fill gaps. Made this look decent enough for the shelf good work Luca
Thanks a lot! Yeah I have had that issue, I think it means the layer underneath needs more time to dry or is possibly a bit too thick. I find that if that happens thinning the next layer and waiting a little while longer for the base to dry seems to overcome this issue. Some Tamiya paints seem more prone to this then others🤔
Very nice work and awesome camouflage! How much time do you allow for paint drying in between coats? Really enjoyed this video and your new introduction! Take care and see you next time!
Thanks mate I am happy with the intro! The acrylics dry pretty quick so probably only 15 minutes. I generally just wait until they loose their glossiness and there are no wet patches since they are all flat paints.
That’s interesting! I might have to check out their 1/48 version, not that I tend to do kits that aren’t 1/72 as a personal preference haha. Thanks for watching!
one in my local hobby shop, i have really been wanting to make a ground breaking, atleast for myself milestone with a bf109, specifically a later war version, i had this kit before but was not really great imo, but it was my second kit ever, is it worth another shot?
If you’re happy to spend the money and the extra time cleaning all that flash then I say it’s worth a second go. It can be good to return to an old kit, especially to see how far you’ve come😁. Although if you want a better detailed and cleaner moulded kit to build I would say get an AZ model one. Good luck with your late war 109! -Luca
@@Luca_Sprues_Model_Kits thanks for the input, there seems to be a common trend with 109 kits where there is such little supply for quality unlike something like a spitfire, especially late war 109s, but your channel is exploring and giving light to the 109 kits worth buying, Thank You!

Excellent build son 👍
Thanks a lot man!

Thanks Lt Gruber! I’ll have to buy you a coffe at Rene’s some time!

Nice new intro ! I like how you used the RLM74/75 on the tail it’s very creative and smart ,could you make a b17?
Thanks, I’m happy with the rudder and the new intro too! One day I’m sure I will, I have got a couple in the stash and the repair yard…
Take care😁
Cool model. 🛩
Thanks a lot mate!
Looks great, really like the weathering. Do you ever have issues with Tamiya lifting the previous layer of Tamiya when adding multiple coats?
Thanks a lot! Yeah I have had that issue, I think it means the layer underneath needs more time to dry or is possibly a bit too thick. It is reduced from an 1/48 kit, but actually may have more parts as the rudder and wing bulges are separate parts... Or maybe this one was first :D

In Europe it is a lot cheaper and better value for what you pay

Absolut desaster, kid. Back to reality. We all had to start somewhere. True. But this is hard to watch. Take more time and care.
Well thanks for somehow managing to watch anyways😁. I’d love to see how your kits look! If you’ve got some advice let me know.
